Long and strong30 Jun 2018 08:54
Here's a hypothetical scenario. (Or is it)?
At the beginning of the month, with the anticipation of the well opening on the 11th the share price was just under 3p, and some expected it to rise higher.
Let's use 2.8p as the bid.
A shareholding of 2.5M was worth £70K. 5M was £140K.
The price started to slip, and the updates accelerated the decline.
On Friday, that 2.5M holding was worth £31.5K using a bid of 1.26p.
5M worth £63K.
In less than a month holders have seen literally thousands disappear off the value of their shares.
But what do I hear? Weak holders, panic sellers, unresearched and many other derogatory remarks, especially towards those that air a concern.
A 5M holder has seen £77K wiped off in less than a month.
This is big money, especially if those holder were only paying £6K for a million.
I despair at these losses. I despair at the games that are played here and I despair that posters here that should know better have ignored the signs and refuse to acknowledge the SP was going the wrong way.
I hope this is the bottom. A good point has been made it is now at a level of shut in (after the over sold drop).
It now may be a strong buy, I note that sentiment changed from no opinion yesterday.
But if the next update has little or no improvement on 24.4%, what will the market reaction be?
I'm pretty sure what it will be if 30% or more is announced.
Long and strong may well come good in the long run, but in the meantime there is money to be made.
The forum should be helping each other, all that has happened this month is name calling, bickering and folk sitting on their hands (apparently) watching their holding devalue by thousands.
It shouldn't be like this.
