So if for example the last trade tonight on ASX is recorded as 0.5p it will show a hefty percentage drop, but in reality its just the difference in spread. Price hasn't moved.

Are they only able to trade in 0.1 cent increments? i.e. 0.5 or 0.6?
If the last trade of the day, a sell, is 0.5 and the next day the last trade, a buy, is 0.6 it shows a 20% increase?

I've been shot down time and time again.
I've been mocked for suggesting people should de-risk prior to results.
I was even mocked for suggesting the risk reward at 0.5 was favourable.
There are people here that I'm gutted for, Reaper being one.
Now more than ever is the time to work together, those that continue to shamelessly ramp it's best to ignore.

You may well be a mechanical engineer but you're also an opportunist trader.
You bought in on the drop hoping for a bounce. 0.25 to 0.33p was decent if you caught it. If you didn't you're stuck and now looking for positives.
You're on the right track though taking note of olderwiser, the only one I can recall interpreting the Ice2 failure correctly before it was announced. Spooky ;)

You are of course correct.
There is no guarantee.
But if you do manage to carry the weight of a financial set back without too much emotional damage then you're on the right track.
As for Covid, I'm well aware of the risk. My household is in the high at risk category and went into lock down as soon as Boris said carry on as normal.

We have known for years Wall reads the forums.
There's even a theory he contributes.
And what would he have learnt from reading?
That there has been a hard core of investors that hang on his every word and are prepared to back him up and defend him 24/7.
Did he play on it?
Its an awfully sad situation, people's dreams and their portfolios are in tatters.
No wonder he is keeping a low profile.
No doubt at some point he will throw out something for everyone to cling on to but as you are all well aware, I stopped listening to his nonsense ages ago with a viewpoint that success with this outfit on the harsh conditions of the North Slope were less than 50/50.
I sincerely hope everyone manages to claw something back.
I've been there, losing 10s of £K, I'm still there, but going through it will make you stronger.
