chrisev1, for 6 years now 88e has been attempting to not just get oil to surface, but to get it to surface commercially.
This RNS is no different to every previous releases.
In layman's terms, we think it's looking good but don't count on it because it's probably a dud.

They're saying the workovers are on schedule but I guess a waiting game until announced.
SP has drifted as a result of a perceived delay perhaps.
Selling during the Q&A seemed bizarre to me, nothing overly untoward reported.
Approximately £11M Mcap seems too low, increased production when workover completed surely not priced in.
Hoping for a strong bounce back above 1p.

They've just issue more, and at a lower price than they just paid the rig operator.
I bet they're ecstatic unless they've already cashed out. (but folk here were saying they wouldn't flip)

What was the Mcap of 88e (or Tangiers) when Wall was appointed?
And what was it when he left?
Even with dilution did it at least double? 150% perhaps?
That's a decent claim to put on your CV.
Add into that the extortionate wages he was paid and no doubt some decent trades and he's done very well for himself hasn't he?
Walking away before another round of probably disappointing results could appear to be a smart move.
His greatest coup was getting the OTC/reddit mob interested. His comment "I wish shareholders good fortune" was very telling.
No doubt in his eyes its job well done, he gave everyone the opportunity to make big money.
A SPP at 0.55p, maximum purchase £15K for those that took it. 6 months later 4p before results.
April 2016 was the time to realise he was a full of sh##e salesman.
It just took many of us many months later for the penny to drop.
He doesn't need to explain why he bailed, he did his job, and for someone who didn't get so much as a drum of oil out of the ground you could argue he did a pretty decent attempt at it.

1 binary drill per year, funded by cash raises, continued dilution for shareholders in a Company that hasn't the expertise to get oil to surface.
Now back in same cycle, awaiting results, jam with a sprinkling of water and extra shares (because they can't afford to pay contractors cash).
Contractors won't hold, they'll want payment so they'll flip.
