Unfortunately ( or fortunately if you are a new buyer or looking to top up) there is a far bigger seller at work here. As always, the secret is to work out when they have finished.

If a comment is deleted by admin, the whole thread is deleted. So, if a thread is not to a posters liking, or is making a poster look foolish, submitting a comment to that thread which one knows will be deleted is an easy way of removing that thread. Not sure if that is something which goes on here.

Dont knock Aldi. Their cooked meats are far superior to most other supermarket chains. The stout and honey ham is imho the best available anywhere.

a1m1, one more go. Im looking at topping up with quite a lot of money( for me) here but I am put off by your references to "trapped bulls" and rampers. This placing issue, which you post about on numerous occasions most days also has me concerned. You state consistently that you seek only to bring balance to the discussion for which many,Im sure, are very grateful. Just so I am not sucked in by the rampers, could you please, in the interest of balance, confirm its your opinion that the company does not need to seek shareholders approval for a £15-20m placing. If Ive got that wrong, please correct me.

a1m1, yes I understand the nuance there. 100% of shareholders dont need to approve the placing. So are you saying there is a certain % of shareholders need to approve, or no approval required. This is quite hard work to say how much you claim to know about this. Approval needed by a certain percentage or no approval needed. Its hard to know how I can be any clearer with my question. If you dont know, fair enough, just say so.

Yesterday I asked if the BOD wanted to do a placing for £15-20m would they need approval from the shareholders. Fairdealer was quite succinct and to the point. Yes they would need to seek approval. a1m1, I would like, for balance, to get your view on this.

No, not a great day. Never like any share I own to be down. £50k sells and down a massive 2%. Not a great day.

Normally wouldnt be happy with this level of selling, as it would usually drop the sp 8-10%. Fact it hasnt tells me they have a buyer for all these shares. Wouldnt expect placing man to either agree, or understand. TBH Im absolutely petrified this may go up 20% as he told us how bad this would be.

certainly a lot of selling today. Yet only 2% down. Its almost as if they are encouraging buys by keeping the bid almost unchanged. Cant work it out. Well I can, but no point explaining it to placing man. He thinks trapped bulls should be worried about a 20% rise. On that logic I guess he thinks everyone will be over the moon with todays slight drop.
