The thing I never understand is they walk it down to get the 1.15m order through which takes them away from the market then people still have access to shares still at the same price. This buyer is taking everything however we can still buy at the same levels too where do these shares just keeping coming from?? I know I’ve said this many times but I certainly can never seem to get my head around how they manage to do it.

Agree about Phulbari day. That would be a bit of a kick in the nuts so to speak. However when is the right time?? She needs to get on with it the country is going down hill and some big descions need to be made for the masses regardless to who it upsets.

Phulbari GL once operational would in turn will provide cheaper power, which would in theory lower the tariffs everyone saves money! What’s not to like?

However as I see this quota problem is a bump in the road for us as Hasina might not want another potential backlash from the people of Bangladesh.

What gives me hope is the fact that someone has accumulated a lot of shares in recent weeks/months not forgetting the 1.2m this week obviously someone sold but they were quickly bought up. Also with the bid now dropping may indicate they have finished which could be good news as they’re now fully loaded or the unrest may have put their brakes on temporarily. Good or bad something should be announced soon (we hope) this no mans land waiting around trying to find any snippet from the press is becoming tiring 🥱

The mms have always done an amazing job at hold this back from going over 6p the question is are they going to be as good at supporting it above 5p now they’ve manipulated it so much people have lost interest in it?

With the current situation, GCM need to provide an update it’s clear something is going on and surely they are obliged to inform us of what’s happening. They can’t say they are unaware as this would be a lie, it's their duty to keep us informed.

I sometimes ask myself how this buyer is able to keep buying at these volumes? Surely the float isn’t massive to keep them being bought up? Without looking it’s over 1m a week the available shares must run out at some point??

But a takeover imo would be unfortunately less than we all are hoping for given the range they are keeping us in it’s for a reason, they wouldn’t hold us down like this to offer us a silly high price surely? I’m not bothered either way as long as we all do well out of it in the end!

However more recently things have changed for the worse for Bangla financially and they are experiencing an energy crisis like never before. Also has GCM shares ever been controlled and manipulated like this before? The last time we saw publicly coming out from the press like now all be it in dribs and drabs was back when Hasina gave it the initial go ahead way back when before it was stopped. Hopefully this time given the circumstances and the failed attempts to mange the countries power supply by other means it will be different! 🤞🏽
