Well FFC you obviously Luv my post and can't live without them, or you would definitely 100% block me , Do you know I think this could be the start of a beautiful friendship between us FFC. Night night now, speak soon. Because tomorrow's another great share buying day.
GLA
abacus thank you kindly for those kind words,
yes it takes somebody to cheer for Burford when things get downbeat and a high share price looks like a distant dream away, and then you get the very people who actually need someone to cheer and shout the loudest for the actual share they hold themselves, and they can't see that they themselves could be possibly be damaging their own share price and interest by attacking me, it's nonesensical .
FFC I wish you would make your mind up, you've told me on several occasions that you don't like my post and will simply block me, yes several times now, so what's so special about my ordinary sometimes repetitive post that makes you lift that blocking mechanism right off again, surely you can't be missing my annoying post as you would put it, I could explain what I don't like about your post, but I wouldn't, because I respect everyone's respectful opinions on their post, so maybe you'd give me the same respect and courtesy by blocking me if you don't like what you read in my post, then you won't have anyone bothering you at all if you choose that blocking function.
FFC I know and I remembered that you stated in the past you paid around £9 for your current shares, and then you've waited for a very long time to get back to where we are now, and my wish is for you and everyone else who's paid much more that that to get their money back and make a fat profit and live happily ever after, I absolutely acknowledge that there are many pitfalls that can happen at any time, cysco, another muddy waters, another pandemic, massive knock on effect banking crisis, or your own big fear ? a management buyout at below or on your £9 share bought price, it's so easy to catastrophize when you waited for numerous years just to get your own money back or even get a profit,
Though I can't be blamed for any of this, as I'm trying very hard to achieve in my post the very thing you want most from this share , a decent profit and positive posters highlighting the possible potential with Burfords story and share.
Never kick someone who could be helping you, other investors must learn from their own investment mistakes if they don't before
Magmanus49 I've never ever seen a rise like that without seeing serious Profit taking after the big rise, so it could be a few days before we steady our share price before we know what's ahead for us , IE Argentina's appeal plans or not ?, Damages arrived at in court, and then if Burford wants to or allowed to sell any part of this first win ruling to 3rd parties, ? Loads of questions to answer before the markets can give their own verdict on our share price. Interesting situation now.
Please DYOR.
GLA
BBH, Thank you kindly for those kind words. I also learn something from every poster no matter how little the contribution.
I also get annoyed when absolutely anyone loses money investing, I desperately want the posters and investors here who have bought above this current share price and have waited for absolutely years to get their money back ,and they also deserve to get a great profit for all that psychological stress they've encountered over them years, they know who they are. and this year can deliver that dream to be in really serious Profit here, I'm 100% confident about this ok. I'm holding tight as I've a done from around £3+ and I'm confident I will get around £20 to £30 pounds in just a few years time if not much sooner.
As I've said numerous times before Please please DYOR.

NGR1616, so you only see what you want to see on anyones post,
So You don't see the PLEAS PLEASE "DYOR." on nearly all my post here.
I seriously suggest you yourself should SHUT The FK UP mate, no forum needs people like you around.
Please please DYOR, PLEASE PLEASE DYOR, PLEASE PLEASE DYOR, PLEASE PLEASE DYOR, you'll probably not even see all that in your small minded brian.
I stand by every word I write here, Burfords shares will at least double by the years end, nobody thanked me for saying Burfords shares will hit £9 several years ago, more did I expect a thank you,
NGR1616. Youve never ever had a good word to say about burford your always attacking the company and it's shareholders and posters, your desperate to drive the shares down because you lost a fortune in them years ago, Let it go now NGR1616
"LET IT GO "and take your loss, and now you're red faced and angry that you missed this massive rise, and the only thing you can do now is to attack a person who's been a cheer leader for this share from around £3 a share.
So you once again shut the FK up mate. Don't be a really bad loser, instead grow up and P,,,OFF
GLA
Neil777. believe me anyone who invest here today will get at the very least double their money at years end when Burford gets priced according to its normal end of year earnings, with very little or nothing coming from a near certain large payout from the Argentine state. Only the smart in-depth studying investors who truly know about Burfords underlying potential would understand that true potential nere, get smart, get invested.
Please please DYOR.

The UK prices their own market shares considerably more cheaply than the usa, so it will be interesting to watch how the USA prices Burfords shares later on today, I'm guessing possibly a Lot more than we're at right now. There's a awful lot more private and institutional investors over there to push us to a more reasonable levelled share price,
Two things may happen, Opec's oil supply cut will push the oil price up ok, and probably increase inflation and sending the general market down a little/ or not,,,, 2 ,,,, investors normally head for safer inflationary proof companies, IE Burford etc, that normally might just give our shares some extra upside today, / or not, so I suspect our USA based shares will lead our share price upwards today to a considerable higher level or just a bit higher, it's really a guessing game here. The average PE over there is around 15 Times PE, and we are at around 10 Times PE, so the difference is substantial in most sector's, so it's going to be another when opening 8 o'clock opening over there at 2.30 pm , yes exciting ok. Though really only because Burfords true potential is still not in the share price or properly reflected in relation to our huge settlement of our YPF case.
It's all still to play for here, serious money is still to be made in these shares.
Please please DYOR,

For the longer term investors here who have their finger on the pulse of Burford and it's prospects and to this point in it's complex history , they like myself can easily see how incredibly undervalued Burford is and even right now, it truly shows you if you do your homework on a company then you can see very clearly the incredible opportunity here to make your money and investment at least double in value, I've a seen this many Times before, when some great news arrives and the shares jumps by 50% and 70% and more , and investors getting nervous in case they retreat back down again ,which can still leave a share price at 100% less value than it should be, and because understandably investors nerves kick in, so that's what I see here right now, and to think Burford will be at around £16 at the year end without any money from the YPF case coming in, with just a normal average earnings to get Burford to £16+ and then add in the money from our YPF case and you can easily see the huge potential here, they don't come any easier than this incredible opportunity, Burfords shares were at over £9 pounds several times in the last few years, so why are we sitting at this unbelievable Low share price now.
Please please Wake up investors .do not miss this limited time opportunity.

The market and market makers still don't know how to value Burford shares right now, I understand that ok, because they want to see the colour of Burfords money at the end of this year before they price us, earnings of around £1.66 , though I'm quite sure if will be over £1.66p should easily give burford a share price of £16.66p at 10 Times PE, so our YPF case is definitely thrown into it for absolutely nothing, yes right now for nothing, it's still unbelievable to see this incredible opportunity here, the YPF case settlement has still got a Long time to go before we see the colour of Argentina's money, though it's only a matter of time before those billions get deposited into Burfords bank account, one way or another this money will get paid, Argentina will have to comply to get rid of a $16+ billion dollar judgement from its statue books.
That judgement is for nothing in our share price right now, that's what I find unbelievable here, it reminds me of when i first seen Burfords shares and opportunity at £2.75p and thought wow wow, that's not right in its pricing, and yet again right now I'm looking at he same unbelievable opportunity at the price they are even now, investors same up out there and snap these shares up for the imminent massive rerating that's coming very soon, with Burford gifting you the YPF case for nothing. "Buy ",sit and hold really tightly,, and you'll still easily at least double your money from this current share price,

GLA
Think about this ,loads of invest tipsters have warned she burford potentially losing this YPF case and all the associated cost involved there.
And yet Burford could easily have lost $50 million dollars in its own cost and also potentially paying the same amount of cost to the other side say $50 million dollars , and yet burford would still have made a significant profit of I think around $130 million dollars, doesn't that say something about the fantastic smart strategies around Burfords management team, also it's probably because they are trained risk averse Lawyers , I've always noticed that about lawyers they don't like to normally leave anything to chance, and always striving to reduce the risk of anything going wrong or not being correct including financial loss, Thus that large hedged gamble and huge profit from that YPF case no matter what way it went.
Work of genius I say.
Also I remember forecasting our future share price, when others doubted it, and yet we're on the right path for that to materialise and come true , always believe in your own conviction and eventually your rewards will follow.
GLA
Another thing it could be some people's biggest mistake to sell to early in Burfords future potential, the compounding growth in top of this big win could seriously leave some investors out of pocket, it's happened to numerous investors in Apple , Amazon , coke a cola, tesla, Microsoft , Burfords could be on the cusp of something really massive in the next few years, compounding growth could make some investors here seriously rich as in multi millionaires, choose carefully I say.
Please DYOR,
GLA
It's normally 50% discounted if they settle early, so we could expect back $8.4 billion as the Argentine state has already come to that YPF bylaws calculation amount themselves, they knew that all along and still put Burford through the wringer to get to this point. Burfords gets their 59+% percentage of that $8.4 billion settlement money.
Whatever way you cut this Burford is seriously in the money here.
Thank for that renegade .
GLA
Yes I agree to that TWT, though only if burford is starting from a point of the original settlement figure, IE $16+ billion and then just for a small part of the award , at this late stage in the game to fight a sovereign foreign government case for over 11 years and win, and then not wait another few months for any clarity on any potential payout would be seriously unwise in my opinion, and then possibly early next year to get our just rewards for all of Burfords hard work would also be very unwise, it's very expensive to sell of to much right now, if we can't sus out if we can get it by now and then wait for 12 months or so, then burford isn't the fantastic company I think it is, it's just that the money is within touching distance, and we've already sold off a huge percentage of our YPF case, so maybe Burford should be a little more patient to get our hands on the remainder of our huge settlement case and money, though if Burford decides to sell now , well I'm sure it's for the best outcome for us it's shareholders.
GLA
The share price could easily end up at well over £12 tomorrow night in America, the astonishing thing is that the shares are even worth more than £12 right now when this year's ordinary earnings get laid out.over the 12 month period, so still this YPF case win is still even now in the share price for nothing, the share tipsters will at some stage highlight this opportunity,
The YPF win is still hard to judge in terms of it's eventual payout , it normally takes around 3 months to conclude any negotiations around a negotiated payout, and that's when when the Argentine state even agrees it will payout, we have another 2 weeks for Argentina to decide on it's course of action, IE , appeal the YPF case with a heafty surety Bond, or start negotiating with a reasonable settlement figure in mind over a 3 months period, and with a payout likely in early 2024 or sooner,
Sebastian Maril indicates either a lump sum or instalments over a ten year period could pay our settlement money,, I think he said that burford doesn't need the money and Argentina hasn't got the money right now, I beg to differ that Burford doesn't need the money right now LOL, though I understand where he is coming from ok, though Argentina definitely doesn't have the freed up American Dollars to pay us straight out of their coffers, as we've seen Argentina is forcing their own state workers to sell their American bonds and to buy Pesos, to bring in more dollar denominated currency into the country, !!!
Though I have to say this, Argentina can easily print off. $ 8. 4 billion dollars of its own currency in sovereign guaranteed bonds, and then it only has to worry about paying out the high interest payments on these bonds, easier said than done, I myself can see the merits in taking instalments over a 10 year period , yes it's tax efficient ok, and ideal for Argentina, though only if you know that Argentina won't at a later date ask for another negotiated deal on the bonds and interest payments, Argentine history tells us to get all our payout money into dollars ASP and bank it instantly, and then watch all the other Argentine bond holders sweat over getting their interest payments from the Argentine state with the bonds fetching around 20 cents to the dollar,
Tomorrow morning will be interesting and exciting, we know its going to go up ok ££££ , wouldn't we deserve it to go to and well over £12 a share, as I've already stated above £12+ and the YPF money is still being given away for free here to any canny sharp eyed investor. Good luck whatever you decide. Buy or just watch.

Thank you for posting that TWT, it should be posted here every day for investors to read through.
The most important part of that fantastic write up was this excerpt from Burfords 2017 annual report.
Our business today is much more than financing Legal fees, a significant portion of our investments look Just to the underlying claim asset value, and legal fee fee spending is irrelevant , Thus the relevant addressable market from our perspective is what we believe to be the trillion dollar or greater annual payment of litigation resolutions.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
So I see this as Christopher Bogart and obviously Burford seeing even much greater potential ahead for Burford than just litigation funding, is it to take on a roll of a litigation lawyer based new type of banking system ?. In order to address a trillion dollar opportunity, surely it would have to be something in that type of area because of the monetary value he indicated, does Christopher Bogart have a similar vision of Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg or even Elon Musk , if Christopher Bogart does have a vision in this type of direction then we can deduct that our share price and valuation will respond accordingly, as I've stated all along burford has a real edge on it's competitors ,it's the leading litigation funder in the world, and still set to grow at 15% per year over another 10 years, practically everything that warren buffet wants from any of his own investments, so just on Burfords current trajectory our share price will rise substantially over the next year and then further ten years or more, then add in that hidden 2017 report and vision that Christopher Bogart could turn Burford into some kind of trillion dollar lawyer based addressable market of litigation resolution based banking system, then we could easily have our own legal financial version of Amazon on our hands. The potential is there ok, and Burford has shown It's competence to deliver at every level a low risk high reward well run operation in Burford.
I believe Christopher Bogart is more than capable of turning Burford into a truly global household name and possibly used by every lawyer /solicitors office in the world. To process the financial handling of litigation resolutions.
I'm sitting tight here until that day arrives, for those that have got in early then possibly massive rewards await.

I hope the shock of this win hasn't given our YOUONLY poster and heart attack, he again just topped up the last time he was here, also he was very excited about the eventual cases outcome. Where is he now ? Celebrating I imagine. Good luck to him I say.
GLA
When the Argentine government pencilled in that potential $8.4 billion payout if they lost this case , they effectively told us + Burfords and their own country that it would be most likely that they were going to lose this case, they legally for their own country and constitution have to provide a honest appraisal of this case and it's outcome, and in doing that they provided Burford and us with a insight to their own lawyers thinking around the outcome of the case, if their lawyers informed them that this case has no real merit, then they would most likely not provide a financial provision for our case and it's payout, that government financial provision was a brilliant indicator to the outcome of this YPF case. Though it's not a guarantee to the actual outcome.
If Argentina wanted to , it could sign off quite quickly on our judgement with sovereign bonds, though it would have to print off considerably more bonds than our judgement to get us our full $8.4 billion, and who would want their bonds in this shaky bond banking crisis period. All I know is that the sovereign Argentine state owes us around $17 +++ billion dollars before negotiated reductions , and that's a fantastic position to be in for Burford shareholders. The financial doomsters will eat their words on this one, it shows you how daft they are at doing their own job at providing investors with good financial information and opportunities. /IE. investors chronicle and the F.Times, and plenty of other's.
