Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Yeah will update next week.
The massive increase in prices plus possible increases has me guessing what we might make this quarter (hopefully this will be published).
I say why not if it is amazing!!!
Can anyone think of any reason why we shouldn't get record production of PGMs this quarter?
Our JV with northam delivers 2,700 per month (and had its maintenance shut down in December) and the latest statement from jubliee was: Jubilee's Inyoni operations continue to achieve exceptional efficiencies achieving an all-time record production in excess of 3 000 PGM ounces for the month of December.
If things stayed the same for the last 3 months then we would have 2,700 + 3000 = 5700 PGMs a month and 17,100 for the quarter. Which would be a massive increase on last quarter (albeit with a northam shutdown).
homey - I guess we shall see. Targets and estimates are there to be beaten.
I am obviously only talking about the current situation at the moment not into the future. I have seen no information given by the company that the Northam agreement has been stopped, so for now so will go by the latest inyoni update in January and the historical performance of the agreement.
I would be really frustrated if we don't have a Jan - March update. How is anyone supposed to see how the company is doing when it is every 6 months which is an age in some peoples eyes.
The figures should be amazing so why not let the market know. I would prefer monthly to be honest and they will have the figures to hand anyway.
We should be reaching nearly 6000 pgms a month with rhodium going crazy in this period.
News flow is crucial for momentum. They need to keep that momentum going to keep share holders happy esp the IIs.
hi all - quite new to this board with a position around 4 to 5p.
whilst I am happy with the progress of the tin produced. the statement on tantalum has led me to have a few questions going forward that hopefully some experienced LTH can help with.
Reference below:
The Company is currently conducting test work to investigate the feasibility of magnetically separating tantalum minerals from the tin concentrate and will update the market with the results of this test work in due course.
With a tantalum offtake agreement already in place this seems very non specific.
I thought they would be further along with this process by now.
1) Is this a hard process?
2) Is there any instance where they are not able to process the tantalum? The wording 'investigate the feasibility' seems to indicate that it may not be possible which surely isn't the case.
Thanks,
Everything I have heard this morning on CNBC and Bloomberg is the move away from tech into high value stocks.
We should be in the best place for this movement. Our value will just get better and better as time goes on. Our PE will stand out soon!!!
I am a really happy with the pics and taking them as confirmation that roan is up and running. I had worried that maybe things were delayed.
Price action recently feels like 13p again with some large holdings changing hands ready for the next push up.
