In the investor presentation on the 4th Feb 2021 is states that in phase 1 stage 1 (page 22) ATM will not be producing Tantalum and Tantalum will only be produced in stage 2 at 15% and 30% at stage 3 http://afritinmining.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/2021-02-01-ATM-Investor-Presentation.pdf but the RNS on 16th June states:
‘Stage I of the Phase 1 pilot plant envisages Run-Of-Mine ("ROM") ore crushed and beneficiated in a processing plant designed for a capacity of 566,400 tonnes per annum, to produce 787 tonnes of tin concentrate and 40 tonnes of tantalum concentrate’
And mentions:
Stage II. Increase production capacity and recovery through
Improving the overall recovery of tantalum from 15% to 30% by optimising liberation between the tin and tantalum bearing minerals and improved magnetic separation efficiency
Could someone confirm the actual state of the tantalum feed? Think this is very important as stage 2 US$11m and the tantalum profit will be very important in how to fund the stage 2 upgrade.
Also, any incite into how stage 2 will be financed?
Thanks,
Some last questions in the short term if you don't mind.
1) Do people know of a persistent seller currently (these things are often known on message boards but not easily researched).
2) Are AfriMet expected to keep hold of their new stake after the loan conversion?
Thanks again - I'm sure this will help other new comers to the board.
