Mongolia's President Battulga Khaltmaa and other government officials have submitted to a 14-day quarantine after returning home from their visit to China, the state news agency Montsame reported on Friday.

Battulga is the first head of state to visit China since the country began implementing special measure to curb the coronavirus outbreak in January.

He arrived in Beijing with Foreign Minister Tsogtbaatar Damdin and other senior government officials on Thursday, and held a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.

They were taken into quarantine as soon as they arrived in Mongolia as a precautionary measure, Montsame said.

Hollybean I know you're right - in a different environment - but the stupidity of the panic selling by yanks is beyond comprehension and is set to continue today. Dow Futures down 400 points already. Yesterday's DOW futures showed it down 294 and yet the market finished down over 1300 points, its biggest drop in history. 4000 points wiped away in four days.

Im getting angry because this panic on the markets is pathetic and Trump just stoking the flames - idiot. Man did nothing to quell fears but once his crooked family and friends have bought enough on the dips a positive statement will be out over the weekend or by Monday Im sure. It happened twice before when DOW dropped 2000 points in 3 days last year. I have no doubt he plays the market with his verbal fear and the theories out there that he is doing this for private investments continue too ramp up. He is being investigated for last years conduct / families possible investments / insider dealing.

Hunter agree with you. I was shot down Monday complaining about the way Americans are terrified of their own shadows but I think after 4 days this week of utter over the top panic selling I've been proved right.

Knew they would behave like this. All think it's the end of the world and yet china made clear time and again new infections vastly reduced already as has the mortality rate. Trump did nothing to calm the markets why......beca8he will have his crooked family buying in on the dips I'm sure of it.

Lol. Made me smile. Seen 6k fall off my pension value since Monday when I looked Tuesday and no doubt that's doubled by now. Im just 2 years away from retiring, well was. Stressful time and all in addition to 80% of my holdings being slapped down last 5 business days as well.

Utterly bizarre people are so nervous about their future. China has all but hit the ceiling with cases and European countries all over their cases. DOW dropped 1900+ points in 48 hours. All ridiculous panic and yet gold dropped as well as everything else yesterday. Normally the polar opposite of the markets mood
