Down 98% myself thxs to the catastrophic damage the crooked Sheikh did to us. Could have used past 2.5 years to average down but seen pretty much zero transparency from the BOD or support to long suffering private investors. That said not selling for pathetic £128 cash in my pocket. Just as well go down with the ship 100% if they don't have the basic intelligence to stop it sinking in the first place. Hoping a new Captain takes the helm because the current one is a tool.

No Evergrande has not 'failed'.....yet.

Unlike the sub prime crash across 07/08 Evergrande have billions of dollars in assets they can sell. Lehman Brothers had f all other than hot air. Evergrande are still trading and actively looking to get themselves out of a hole. Chinese Government will step in otherwise to save face if anything given the way they ****ged off the West following the Financial crisis 2008 onwards

Personally, cos I'm almost 56, this reminds me of the hectic years before the fall of the USSR. China elite are getting nervous because of growing descent across the country, people in China seen outright defiance of the HK people and if Evergrande fails there will be even more anger.

Aware they want to move away from Algeria, the King is very big on western tourism, lot of developers knocking out modern holiday homes there and only a stones throw from Spain/EU. I do wonder if Morocco would ever consider joining the EU albeit I think the concept (EU) is doomed to fail with more countries leaving.
