There are clearly some very switched on investors on this BB, those for and against the companies chances. I've certainly learnt a lot about oil by engaging (once in a while) and reading your posts. I imagine many of you are also invested in other like for like shares as am I however, I only started investing in oil 6 months ago. Previously (18 yrs ago) I just made my money on new medi and tech before the bubble burst. Surely is there not at least just one of you oil sensai that have direct contacts in Nigeria or friends working for another company who has contacts inside the country itself in order to carry out some due diligence on Art / COPL?

I ask because it appears we only get news about 'progress' from the company itself. My suggestion is to circumvent COPL to check if they're actually even in the country, have staff there or the contacts, pending contracts etc suggested to LTH year on year.

We live in a modern world of tech and if an independent group in Leics can use just YouTube and Google maps to confirm Russia shot down an airliner over Ukraine to the satisfaction of the Hague (BBC news 3 days ago) then I think those in the know here could find what we all need to know, good or bad.
