Okay then guys - if that still stands then I am struggling to understand why I can find no mention of Shorecan or COPL on Essar website and furthermore, given this latest discovery, I trust we (COPL) will be getting a slice of the cake once this starts operating.
If Shorecan owns the majority (share capital) of Essar Exploration and Production Limited (80% ) and in turn COPL owns 50% of Shorecan then some of the revenue should be coming COPL's way and thus reflected in the sp/overall revenue - in due course? I cannot find Essar business being so compartmentalised; i.e. Essar Exploration and Production Limited - Vietnam, Essar Exploration and Production Limited - Nigeria etc so can only assume its one of the same that COPL are already in and yet, no trace of copl.
I've even looked at the other companies listed on their annual reports in Bermuda, Canadian Overseas Petroleum (Bermuda Holdings) Limited. Registration No 45375. All I've found so far are the names and residential addresses of the company officers. No business premises found so far so I would imagine its purely been set up for tax 'benefits'. Given all of Art's dilution I would be a bit p**sed to ever discover the account is full to the brim of money but no chance of seeing that bank balance that's for sure.
Just to throw another spanner in the works re majority holdings of Shorecan/COPL - Essar was sold for 12.9 Billion to Rosneft and Trafigura-UCP Consortium in August 2017, some 11 months after Shorecan bought into the company. Again I have to question if Shorecan, and by default COPL, saw some of that money given its holding of 80% & 50% respectively? http://www.canoverseas.com/exploration-properties/
