Not quite true Net outflows last year were Liontrust were £4.84 billion, which is from liontust website!! All investment companys suffered outflows last year!!!

Although all investors have been going to cash through recent high inflation turmoil, they still have 29 billion in active funds and when inflation drops they will come back!

Lastly How do you know GAM are a lost cause........ If they were losing to much money as you say why are other investment companys putting competing Bids to try and takeover GAM themselves.

I m fully awary asa with all companys not everythings rosey but if your going to be a critic best to be factual and not spout lies!!!!

I dont think it is a hostile bit though, GAM management and Fund managers are all wanting Liontrust to take over and have publicly encouraged shareholders to vote for liontrust to take them over. I dont fully understand how but there is risk involved as GAM losing money, which Liontrust say they have the strategy and Cash ready to make GAM breakeven. I would love to understand how they plan to do this, John Lions is experienced and great track record so far. I dont understand how they plan to turn GAM around but he obveously thinks it can be done! You walk away now and come back later there losses will be greater I m guessing. This is out of Liontrust hands now its down to weather or not GAM shareholders want to go with Liontrust, the other proposal they have has offered to buy so many of there shares but has not stated how they plan to fund or strategy to some GAM from losing money!!

They currently have in excess of 121 million in the bank I dont thionk this will be an issue........!!! Just an atempt at scare mongering on your part!! If you want to try and be a wise guy better do a bit research before hand!!

I think it will go up, thats just my opinion though as less risk

Hi guys dose the fact Lionstrust shares have dropped considerably mean they will be more diluted than they woud of been had the shapre price stayed up at £13 ??

If you take into account one off acquisition costs of 9.7 million profit could be up quite nicely next year should be sales be onpar with this year. Just my thoughts....
