Buy some depleted wells from a mate. Sell some land that came with the deal. Use proceeds from land sale to buy newly issued shares back from mate before share price totally collapses and mate's shares become worthless. After ensuring of course that that the number of new shares issued was below requirement threshold for notification of acquisition or disposal of significant holding. All done in the open and totally legit, right under the noses of their existing mug punters.
