Suspect they tried to squash the offer. Seems to me like literally suitors are crawling all over Asos at this price. The ceo has probably not handled this well and potentially has not made disclosures that he should have done - for whatever reason. Mike knows now what’s going on. I think there’s potentially 5 suitors here and don’t rule out Apollo piling in. This will get hot. Now is the time to grab this but it won’t go super cheap. Too much interest.

The window of opportunity realistically is small. And this won’t be going bankrupt lol. It’s a huge global brand. Its intrinsic value is huge.

Asos will get taken over to my mind. There is just too many people who want this. The question now is simply who gets it and at what price. Ceo is out of his depth and needs to take control of this. Should be a lot more communication from him. I suspect he is very close to overstepping the mark with the fca.

I’m expecting this to be trading over 400p tomorrow for starters. Simply way too much speculation being printed by quality papers for it all to be written off. Based on this being a prized asset I think 800p would be around the level needed to buy it.

Lse could demand Asos reveal any approaches formal and informal. Monday will be fireworks. It won’t be suspended. Somethings brewing though.

I think at these prices there is bound to be an offer. Personally I think it will land between 800 and 900p

Asos fills a massive gap in Ashley’s retrial empire. With his high street footprint as well it’s the perfect combo.

Till someone makes an offer to buy this. Its just too cheap and will be too tempting to too many.
