Remember short tracker just shows positions over 0.5% Lots of shorts deliberately stay below the notification threshhold.. Euroclear shows all of the stock out on loan, and last month it was 15%.

15% of the stock is still out on short... Whenever you have a large short position, particularly where it may want to unwind you see "strange" movements.. This should be higher IMO but I suspect shorters are manipulating, as they flick to long they will want to see a rapid increment, and may well also "go long" and try and squeeze other shorts, but its a game of chicken. I suspect they have got this as low as they can and it will flip any time now....

Similar to here at the moment.. In a downtrend.. Although UEN is geopolitics playing out....

At least they could potentially use the cashflow from Indonesia to get AZB up and running then cross subsidize.. As others have said though, there are a lot of costs in the oil world, this asset will not be generating millions of pounds of profits.... It does sound interesting though...

Not really a dilution though as srb get 15 million in the bank that they didn’t have before, at the prevailing share price. That says it all for the prospects that they got no discount on the rights issue.

This is very high volume for SRB, its not a high intensity share Gold up 1.59% 1350$ per ounce.

Agree, this was criminally undervalued before, now even more so, they got 15 million in the bank at the prevailing SP, that shows the support there fore SRB. The results are likely to be very good, they are now sitting on plenty of cash, production will increase, I can see this heading for circa 10p now with all the uncertainty around how they will fund moving forward gone. South Dagi probably comes in next 30 - 45 days.. Should start to see this move in expectation... If that really can churn out 2000 bopd...Then that will transform things.. Could easily push it to 300p

Does anyone know what oil was produced when it was drilled in the 70's? Presumably it was a producing area as 4 of the 6 wells were appraisal not exploration....

So it’s a 29km2 area that we have paid over 2 million dollars for.. 4 appraisal wells and other previous wells all hit oil. This looks brilliant acerage.

Didn’t realise how significant south Dagi could be The Company's plan is to design and seek approval for a Development Plan for the South Dagi license with the official authorities, which is expected to involve a drilling program with the objective of producing up to 2,000 bbls/day over the next 5 years. The oil from South Dagi will be transported by road tanker to the Company's refinery at Petrosakh, a distance of 400 kms, increasing the utilisation rate of the refinery, which will not need additional investment to process both the heavy and light oils produced at South Dagi.
