To your second point ‘how could it happen’ it’s not that shocking that it’s happened as such. As another poster just pointed out they are in margin, it’s all perfectly legal. What is ‘shocking’ is the scale of the sales that we’re required to meet his liability. And secondly (ps on phone would type more but it’s a pain so being brief) , you have to assume it’s a case of the problem was a self fulfilling prophecy, as they crashed the share price to meet the margin call they pushed the shares even lower meaning even more needed selling. An incredibly vicious circle.

So we now know he does not have a notifiable holding. We also know the shares were sold basically in a kamikaze way and crashed the share price as they literally could not be bought fast enough... looking back it was brutal they were just relentlessly selling. It looks like the selling has stopped, I said this earlier. This confirms it. Volume has normalised but the activities have left the shares at what I see as a false price. They should really start moving next few days. Shetty has not really been shafted, if you put the shares down as securitisation then this could always happen. It has been brutal though and you do wonder if muddy waters are behind it all. Remember finabler travellex issues are exactly the same time with the random ware. So many events all in the same time frame, all negative and it has walloped the sp. who wanted that to happen? Shorters... the city is greedy. Never be surprised by how low they will go.

Volume is decreasing and share price is stabilising, strongly suggests the relentless selling / shorting is over...

So whilst the pledges are annoying they are in no way against the law and are just a personal investment decision. It has cost them dear here but there is nothing fundamentally wrong with it.

Agree, they are desperate to shove this down, good RNS and the board hard at work now sorting things out. We now know that is what crashed the SP.

THe big and in hindsight clever shorts are closing now as is clear from shorttracker... I am not sure a huge number of shorts are going to be opened at 8 quid with a bid situation ongoing...

Volume is stabilising at more normal levels, SP is stabilising, this is like a coiled spring... There cannot be many 800p sellers left.
