I know it is in German but they want 550,000 rapid tests for the Munich area. Could be ODX manufactured tests are suitable and meet the necessary sensitivity requirements.

Testing is here to stay. One of my seasonal workers has had her covid testing job extended to Feb 2023.

This job has been on the go for about 6 weeks and I think this is the second round of adverts. For a decent Safety Manager they are a bit low on the salary as most are on £35k to £48k. The application for FDA approval shows they are making something to sell and not watching the football.

This is only good news if it is UK tests being used. I have yet to see any news about what tests are being used for these events but we do need to get the ODX manufactured ones out there. Any ideas on how long the NDA is in force for or is it being used as a cover? I am still hanging in there but there comes a pony where I must make a decision based on what my brain is saying as I have listened to others for long enough. July last year it was the same with "News expected soon". Nothing about the £374 million contract or any other strings such as the allergy and HIV testing.

Primary schools aren't included but the staff and teachers have to test at least twice a week and one school I now of it is a daily requirement of all staff including the cleaners and etc.

Has there been any lateral flow test making any sort of significant sales? I can pre-order loads but can't seem to actually get anything delivered. Anything else advertised is for "professional use" only as well even thought you only need to tick a box to confirm they will be administered by a professional. one of my part time team is a Paramedic on the ambulances and is not considered to be a professional as I have enquired what constitutes a professional person. She can stick a catheter in my willy and recently she was removing bits of Lego from somebody's back passage but can't administer a swab.

Strictly speaking Avacta don't have a test. They have a vital part of a test and need a manufacturer to make said test. This is being done by (I believe) Mologic. This test is currently being evaluated by the FDA for approval. Please correct me if I am wrong. I expect the test to get FDA approval soon.

good news for the manufacturer of their test (Mologic).

just had a reply from Medybird to say
"Hi Gregory, yes the Hughes Test is CE approved for home use. Perhaps I can give you a call tomorrow and get across some details?"
I am waiting on the call tomorrow and find out how they got home approval. Perhaps Mologic can go down the same route.
