RE: RE;Updating the market19 Sep 2019 16:11
aerial (and Bigeye) - the issue around facts is exactly where I am coming from. There is great "potential" here, we all know that and it's undoubtedly in some of my posts, but the last P&L figures for our first full year of mining after starting in October 2017 were dire. End of - that's fact. Rufus keeps harping on about efficiencies coming in production, further contracts, sales etc etc but it's hard facts (numbers) that investors want. The market doesn't react anymore on AIM to pure speculation. Bigeye keeps going on about my other investments - two of them are main market shares with tangible assets well in excess of any debt levels, paying a dividend and making annual profits. What do I really need to worry about? They've both been shorted over the past two years but the fundamentals are solid. The other is a share that has gone up nearly 150% since I bought in and keeps the market updated far regularly than Edl. There is no comparison to here. That aside, the market doesn't lie. What is said on here has absolutely no bearing on the price of our shares - anyone believing the contrary is a fool. The price relies upon fundamentals (it's that word again) - our last accounts are al we currently really have to go on. That's the primary problem which is why our Interims are absolutely crucial. You made a point about trucks in the August RNS - RNS's like that will have little or no impact on the share price, although I accept it may cause some short term volatility, purely because it tells investors nothing. Facts in private businesses whether listed or not is all about one thing - profit - and if we can't get to break even quick enough or at least demonstrate with hard factual figures that its coming (and we may need to get there sooner that next years expected point) we're stuffed. That's not moaning that is basic P&L fundamentals of every single private sector company. The reason we don't have civilised debates on here anymore is the first time anyone dares to talk ill of a company where most of us are 80/90% down they get shouted at, derided, called names, accused of deramping etc etc and at times almost ganged up on. No wonder people don't bother. Now can you pop your head round the door and ask your mate to be a bit more civilised please. GW
