It is reported that Rio Tinto produced 232 thousand tons of titanium rich materials in the second quarter of 2018, down 27% from the same period last year. The output in the first half of the year was 525 thousand tons, compared with 647 thousand tons in the first half of last year, a decrease of 19%. After a casualty incident in April 26, 2018, Rio Tinto Ti suspended the production of the Canadian Sorel-Tracy plant, and the production of the South African Richart Bay mining industry was also affected by labor disputes.
