Interestingly, the happy clapper who has been telling us for a long time how this was going to play out either by imminent offtakes, share price predictions or how many EV buses the New Delhi Bus Company was going to buy has not had any input to ANY of the important topics discussed here. Makes you wonder why eh! Lol

Ant, for me it's the realisation that timelines are not and have not been kept wrt recent emh interviews. This is almost entirely due to our partners now directing our path. This is not a criticism but the way things are. On aim and elsewhere everything is driven by news and timelines. I've switched off to this for now and will be keeping an eye out for our partners newsflow...
The much vaunted shareholder agreement will be critical in future and is (imo) our true path in moving forward or cashing out when the chips are cashed in by our partner.

The method is to add carbon dioxide to the process chamber during roasting. That's it.... this apparently reduces energy requirements for the production of cement. How this will be applicable to lithium processing is anybody's guess.

Jeez Arnaud, don't go there ........ All I'll say on the matter is that if they make the roasting part of the process work then it may not be a geomet ISP owned part of the process. Nobody at this stage knows what is going on in the background and if I was KC at this moment in the don't think I'd be best pleased with someone trying to undermine what they're trying to do with the turnkey approach. It all seems very haphazard with the way news about this has come out. If it was an agreed collaboration between all interested parties then fair enough but the lack of newsflow from our side of the business is alarming at worst and amateurish at best.

Yes, I agree that the agreement should be watertight in comparison to an mou. However, nobody has mentioned the word nationalise yet. Would they, could they and if they did would they get away with it? Afterall, if you go back and look at the history of Saudi Arabia when they first found oil it was all the well known oil companies who were involved. The Saudis then decided to go down this exact route....

Hmmmmm, Babis, CEZ CEO and the rector of the chemical engineering dept at Prague uni will all be there. Why is KC not present? Why has the reported furnace process initiated by cz and cez not been mentioned by emh? How does this dovetail with the SME lithium process that is currently being worked on? Something seems a bit whiffy to me.
I could be wrong and it's all PR puff prior to the election but I'm watching this like a hawk. Call me a deramper all you like but once bitten as they say.....and that's with or without the great shareholder agreement with cez.

Ant, I think you're missing the point. It's not about the resources they have but their ability to destabilise the whole EU as a going entity. Anyway, it might all be 007' esque in our analysis and not matter in the long run.

Thanks MO for the response. Having been a shareholder since before the MOU U-turn I've always thought that the biggest impediment to progress is political and not geological. However, it would be a massive risk on the part of the Cz state to start some kind of trade negativity if it decided to side with the eastern part of Europe. The EU/western EV makers having potentially been shutoff from Cz lithium would have no other option than to source product from other European/worldwide suppliers. This would in turn switch off any future inward investment in Cz and leave it as a somwhat pariah state in the EU.
You mention Crimea but I think this would be a much bigger issue within the EU and over the years possibly result in the expulsion of the state from the EU.

Majoroak, it would be interesting to find out if you are an emh investor or not? Interestingly you have mentioned Russian influence in the past and a reluctance by the EU to invest in the CZ Republic presumably due to both. Can I ask where your pessimistic view stems from?
