your right it only says it has been paused. and they have recruited 109 out of the 120. So do you think that means all 109 have recived a dose or placebo. will they get any permissions for treatment of copd if they have not finnished the trial and will we be locked down again next winter? so we might not be able to compleat then. They could always do another video trial.

what if the person who is in the trial does not take the medication but gives it to someone else is there a way to test the trial patients to make sure they have taken it or are they just asking them to video the themselves treating themselves?

well they had to stop the copd early. They said they had enough information for results maybe the results were not conclusive so they are hoping the good covid 19 results out weigh any incoclusive results from the copd trial.

That being said surely any at risk groups will get a vacination as standard when it comes out.
