Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Morning all, sorry to be off amc topic, Wengerout, I thought current tax free personal allowance was £12,500p.a. Where did you get your £13,200 figure from?
DizzyJim, but you can buy an awful lot of raw fish if you sell your amc shares for 2p each!
I also think that a sale of the company is likely sooner rather than later. It seems likely that Thomas Bowens joined the board to negotiate a deal given his previous experience. If not, what on earth has he been doing? His purchase of 7.5 million shares at 2.16p is starting to look a bit foolish, I reckon he is currently about £50k underwater, that gives me plenty of hope that he will also turn my current paper loss around. Good luck all.
Rc200, this one is a proper coiled spring, when it finally pops it will a lot, lot more than 50%. That's my theory anyway.
Usually I'm positive, but next RNS could be delaying the TEO until Q2. This BOD certainly very good at can kicking.
This phase seems like a permanent tree shake to me, get the shares into the right hands, keep the price as low as possible for as long as possible. Only those private investors who have the stomach for the endless waiting will reap the rewards of the final outcome. Good luck all, hang on in there!
Wandgrabbit, agreed, tears of joy hopefully. Perhaps there has never been a better example of 'The best things come to those who wait'.
Agreed, past performance of self-set deadline meeting does not bode well when it comes to this BOD. Just a pipe dream, but I would love to see someone like Roman Abramovich buy a controlling stake in the company, and to oversee the work of the senior management.
Hallowed, I'm not proud of holding AMC shares for 10 years, l would rather have made a nice profit and got out long ago. But like many others, I am stuck here underwater and refuse to sell at a loss. I am proud of the qualities I have which any amc LTH needs to have i. e. perseverance, determination and believe in the eventual outcome of the AMC story. I will exit when I have made a profit worthy of 10 years dedication and I still believe that day will come.
Oh no, is Berty back again?
Yes, I should never forget the ability of this share to turn on a sixpence. One day the rocket launchers will be ignited and the sky will be the limit. That's why I have been here over 10 years. It's a chalk and cheese share, frustrating and exciting at the same time.
Plenty of chunky sells as well which I guess is why the share price is going nowhere. Even the huge buy yesterday had no upward impact on the share price.
It's very interesting how that £129k buy came in today after all the shenanigans of berty boy the last few days. Is it just a coincidence? He seems to have gone awol now and never answered my question about being paid to deramp. Was some paying him in order to buy 7.5 million shares today as cheaply as possible. I guess we will never know.
Yes, where are you this morning Berty? I set up a my alarm for 7am, as you advised but there was no rns! Con-man of the highest order is our Berty.
Berty, AMC represents 1.5% of my portfolio, if I lost my entire stake in AMC it would not be a problem and I would quickly recover. Yes, I would be disappointed but to call me an addict is pathetic. Please answer my question, are you being paid by someone to write your trash?
Berty, is it possible for you to give an honest answer to a simple question? Are you being paid by someone to write your trash? I won't be selling any of my shares based on what you spout. I have invested and I am a stubborn old git that won't be influenced by anything you say. Please go away.
I think most of us on here have learned now to take most things that RY says with a pinch of salt. Q1 Teo, well let's see, I will be very pleasantly surprised if it turns up by the end of March and I am certainly not going to hold my breath.
Yes Lucando, it's missing a comma! I think when you read it again RY is describing AH as AMC president.
That's two big buys today, one at 09:48, the other at 13:14. Holding this share is very frustrating but every now and then someone spends £20k on some and you think surely they have to be 'in the know'. Although I suppose £20k is pocket money to some people!
Wandgrabbit, that was naughty, you got all the newbies excited who probably haven't researched as far back as the mou with Jinchuan. Didn't fool me, been here much too long!
