I think there are 2 options here.
1. Russia successfully take Ukraine and we end up with a nuclear stand-off between NATO one side of the border and Russia on the other.
2. We show some bottle now, and help the Ukrainian people defeat Putin by joining the fight militarily rather than just watch the massacre that is about to happen.
I prefer option 2, nuclear war, so what, Putin's arse needs to be properly kicked. There are women, pensioners and kids signing up to fight the Russian army, they will be slaughtered. Better to put NATO soldiers in there now, whatever the consequences.
'With you Ukraine!' Completely agree. Also it will only take one stray Russian missile landing in a NATO country and we will literally be with Ukraine in a war against Putin. AMC share price will be the least of our worries.
Interesting that on Wednesday AMC were an hour ahead of EUA in releasing their 'no impact' RNS. Today nothing as yet, not a good sign in my opinion. Come on RY, just clarify the situation please.
Yes, but BoJo has said further sanctions would target individuals and assets of strategic importance to Russia. I will continue to hold but I am realistic that I might lose every penny I have invested here.
If the tanks attempt to roll all the way to Kyiv I guess we will all be able to top under 1p per share. Sorry, I am very pro AMC and have held my shares for many years. Mr P has probably always controlled the outcome here, never more so than now.
Hold on tight and get ready to top up again. If Mr P is about to recognise Donetsk and Luhansk as independent states the ride is about to get even rougher. Will he send troops in to those areas? If the majority of people in these 2 regions are pro russian, what's the problem? Mr P is certainly turning the screw, does he really not care about sanctions? I definitely would not want to have a game of poker with him. I will continue to hold my shares. 'He who dares Rodney, he who dares'.
I have built my position here since 2009. It's always been high risk with the potential for huge reward. Primarily I feel for the Ukrainian people, it must be incredibly frightening. Perhaps I will lose all my money but I won't lose my life (unless it really escalates into a nuclear war). It appears Macron might be the man to rescue the situation at the 11th hour, if he does he will have hero status in my eyes. In terms of my shareholding, it's never felt more like double (hopefully more) or quits than it does now.
Henners007, I hope you don't mind me asking, but given your current 'stage name' I am wondering if you used to be 'medauntouchable'. Not seen him on here for a while and we lost contact after working together. He introduced me to this share many moons ago and I'm still here 12 years later waiting, hoping, believing it can still come to fruition.
Rover, that would be great if AH does still hold his shares as a PI, considering how he enthusiasticley preached about the potential of the project. MD, I am clutching at straws, but is it possible that if AH left as a director suddenly, he was not a director at the time his shares were sold (if that is what has happened). Therefore AMC did not need to inform the market. I'm guessing/giving RY the benefit of the doubt.
Hi TDT, when Habib sold his last batch of shares (24,000 on 30.10.20) it left him with a balance of 4,876,000. (from this website under director deals) Which fits with what you spotted. So that's confirmation I suppose that AH is well and truly gone and no longer holds any shares in AMC.
It was me, l told Elon that I could only afford to buy my first Tesla once I had sold my Amc shares for 25p per share!
I would completely understand all your concerns if Amc was operating in the UK. But Russia is a different kette of fish. Is RY now just a puppet with someone far more powerful pulling the strings? If the powers that be in Russia told me to keep my mouth shut, I would do so without question.
Silly me, I should have sold some on Friday, but I have never been brave enough to trade this share. Has any other share had more false dawns than this one? Never mind, today's losses will probably be recovered tomorrow...
I reckon he is saving it for April Fools Day....
Blimey, you can say that again, a couple of huge buys there. Wouldn't want to be out over the weekend LOL!
Perhaps we do have nickel phosphate and that's why the sp is at 1.5p! I was invested in Desire Petroleum once, their 'oil' turned out to be seawater LOL.
TDT, thanks for clarifying. Appreciated.
Will someone please tell me, have I missed something here. I thought that it was clear from the last RNS that the new deadline for TEO was now the end of this year. Why are people still expecting TEO by the end of this quarter?
Well I for one refuse to buy anymore of these unless we go sub 1p again. RY please don't give me the opportunity!
Thanks TDT, I think our problem is that amc potential suitors are limited to companies within countries that consider Russia to be a 'geopolitically safe mining jurisdiction'. China still hot favourite in my opinion.
