Selling Flybe just before Xmas and buying back in here. Had a great profit on Flybe and I’m expecting the same here very soon....

With all this Brexit negativity what the country needs is a huge oil and gas find.....#UJO will hopefully deliver this.....fingers crossed ..keep that drill drilling and let’s find some oil in them ills (said with an American twang)

The slots are worth more than that. Robbery. A private investor would be best off buying the co and telling Virgin proper money or split it up.

Bought a large percentage of the company today wouldn’t they have a better chance of stopping it. If I had a million I’d buy a large percentage and hold virgin to ransom....where the FCCk is BA at these prices....

Plus tens of millions for liquidity. It’s still peanuts for Europe’s largest regional airline. Virgin will make a fortune from this deal after 2 years or so. They will save £10m plus in fuel costs from 2019-2020 so that half’s the loss in simple terms. Better routes plus subsidy plus cost cutting..... really doesn’t make sense . There have been some big buyers of tens of thousands of pounds since it was put up for sale. I hope the institutions have some influence.....

If this is an agreed deal then I think shareholders are finished. If it is an offer (opening) then it can be rejected and a revised offer can be made. The airport slots are worth more than this and £20m is basically giving it away for free. Virgin would be quids in from day one. Lots of posts from me and others about the reduced poo, new routes etc.

It’s a bargain price but at least it’s a few pence more than current SP
