They have the worst mortgage rates, the worst savings rates, the worst customer service and as they close branch after branch little to separate them from the challenger internet-only banks. I simply use my NatWest current account to shuttle money into high-rate tax free savings accounts with the likes of Zopa and to pay bills. Balance is kept to a bare minimum.
