He is saying the right things hardown and he is gathering a lot of support but he will have to back it up as the left wing msm will go after him hard and his support will turn on him quickly if he can't deliver. The problem he will have it will take time to show results when he implements his policies and the electorate have little patience for any political party at the moment to wait for results.

The Lib Dems are a wasted vote they would be even worse than Labour. They do well in their own strongholds but their support doesn't translate to the rest of the country the Greens are another non party that leaves. Lab, Con, Reform and the new Corbyn party who will steal votes from Labour which will dilute labours support.

Whether Reform can maintain their support in the polls and translate it to election votes is unknown lot of time to go yet but then there is plenty of time for Labour to continue to mess it up.

Personally I think the Reform vote maybe stronger than what the left think because there will be many who say they won't vote for Reform for fear of abuse from the left a bit like the Brexit vote but where no one can see where you put your cross in a polling booth different matter. I expect the muslim postal vote to be much more organised at the next election also which is another unknown in the mix who will they support?

As much as I despise this labour government and the cons before it Farage has a huge amount of work to do to flesh out his policies if they are going to work. He is strong on rhetoric but short on policy but he still has time to change that as he will be more heavily scrutinised by the msm than anyone else.

I agree with Net zero is a fool's paradise. Immigration will have to be resolved by changing or leaving international treaties and followed up with robust policy to close loop holes. Government spending will have to be controlled it should be more beneficial to work than sit on the dole. PIP and motorbility allowance needs to be tightened up which Labour failed to do.

I like he is looking to bring in industry experts and slim down the house of lords another gravy train for politicians mates. The civil service needs the far left clearing out from it. Sharia Law and Islamaphobia should be binned and legislation brought in where it would need a referendum to bring in so a new government can't just do it. Loads of other stuff to do he will have a massive job if he gets in as PM.

The far left of the party will be desperate to get one of their own as deputy leader so they can continue to push their agendas.

Starmer had the perfect opportunity to push for membership of EFTA when the country voted for Brexit but he was far too concerned with forcing another referendum and overturning the vote. You can't blame Farage for the implementation of Brexit whatever he would have done is irrelevant he wasn't in power.

Maybe we should adopt Poland's immigration policy and turn them back at the borders:)

If polls are just ambient noise at the moment why are labour so concerned about Reform? Is sentiment good or bad not a reflection on how well a government is doing? Do you not think Labour would be concerned about sentiment whether good or bad?

Anyone else having trouble with power cuts? I have noticed in my area we have had a number of power cuts ranging from 30 mins to 3 hrs over the last few month. My in laws who live 30 miles away have been having the same problems as well not on the same days by the way. No storms either at the same time. It is unusual not happened before when maintenance work has been done we get informed. Also friends of ours who live in the Midlands have been having similar problems.

He "won't stop the boats" in two weeks he will have to jump through hoops regarding the international treaties and then if he can extract or dilute their effect on the UK he will have to close all the loop holes the far left and human rights lawyers will try to exploit to keep their gravy train rolling. So if he isn't well prepared what he tries will be ineffectual.

The "boats" are only part of the problem migration issues are much more widespread than just boats. Uncontrolled migration has been going on for a number of years now and will take more than two weeks to fix. There is lots they can do but soundbites and slogans won't cut it just as "smash the gangs" didn't.

I am going to have to get some more popcorn in we have their party conference to come up and then the budget and new deputy to elect as well. They are in a doom loop like the economy.

Feel sorry for the government that follows them having to pick up the mess they are creating.

Hope the hard left start defecting to Corbyn get all the nutters in one place where they can be kept an eye on.
