Can anyone tell me where and when the special meeting on the 7th September is being held please? I might be being silly, or looking in the wrong place, but cannot seem to find any mention of the location. I'm hoping it's in London rather some remote Irish outpost. Thank you in anticipation.
Shame are paths unlikely to cross Munster but please continue your contributions to this page. As you have seen a number of fellow posters have appreciated the broader dimension and insight you provide. I wish you well whatever you decide and thank you again.
Thank you. I often have reason to fly into Shannon and visit Limerick for work which given your nom de plume I would imagine you are fairly proximate or a fréquenter of Thormond Park. The very least I can do is buy you dinner for the breadth and helpfulness of your kind response. Luckily I don't need the money now but with my looming retirement that might not be the case in the later years. I think I'll hold given the possibilities you have so thoughtfully taken the trouble and time to outline. I really appreciate it and my offer stands if our paths per chance cross. Graham
Thank you for this most informative post. A small question emanating from a probable naivety and unfamiliarity with this type of investment vehicle. If there's unlikely to be any immediate or even medium term interest in the shares that means the market will be flat as not subject to the normal supply and demand factors (exacerbated by a paucity of market makers dealing in the shares). If I'm right am I best advised to put my 2043 entitlement in a bottom drawer somewhere until that magical £100m level reached and stop monitoring their performance? I just don't see any alternative other than to divest myself at a considerable loss of my 8.5 year holding. Any guidance appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you for thoughtfully posting this commentary. Hopefully, this will help stem some of the content posted on this message board of late driven by what has been evidently an understandable frustration. I have confidence that in the longer run this will all turn out well (notwithstanding that Keynes said in the long run we are all dead!!) I'm going to stick with it.
I am a LTI in this stock-bought them as AIMI from one of the original directors (as a favour to give him some funds) and have lived through the up and downs of the last 7 years of ownership. I would be grateful for some insight as to yesterday's AGM as I've been monitoring the chat for a few months and decided to enrol as I'm getting concerned as to the future of these shares and the behaviour being demonstrated by the principals. I might be able to throw some light on events too albeit from a historical perspective .......
