Good afternoon Mafuta, I’m humbled by your own and other folks’ kind responses today and genuinely thank you all. You’ve all restored my faith in humanity certainly. However, you mustn’t apologise for other people’s ignorant comments. Who knows what their issue was with my straightforward and honest question? I was certainly shocked by some responses though.

Loss of a loved one or friend is difficult indeed. As you say, words cannot undo this and it’s better to have empathy. I say rather than be contemptuous. Anyway all’s well for me now since receiving so many sincere replies. Thank you to you genuine posters. I’ll certainly consider my future manner of questioning however. xx

Hi, you are correct, thank you too for your encouragement. I also, am sorry for your own loss. We used to just pay a small monthly amount to CRUK from our bank accounts. However on reflection we chose to throw more sensible amounts of money right at the research, if it was to be more worthwhile. Hence my family’s earlier purchase of Sareum shares. We all doubted it would strike our own family’s lives as it has done since and so terribly too. The sooner more folk acknowledge all cancers and Covid, won’t just go away, the better is our belief.
