All of todays sales 5.60 fall right in the middle of the bid 5.50 and ask 5.70, they could all be buys. The London Stock Exchange site show the same deals but never say whether they are buys or sells which to me is correct.

Thank you all Gents, for your informative comments. I did notice the other day the spread was over 11%, I see today it is 3.64%, what was the reason for that.

pickedpeck - Dear Sir, many thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I will hope to sell some shares in my nominee account and transfer 20k into my Isa in April. Hopefully I will be able to bring my average down slightly and even if I make a small profit I will be happy. Once again many thanks for your views on GEMD.

pickedpeck- Sir, would you be so kind as to tell me what price or average price you bought your Gem, seeing you wish to make 50%. I bought some for my Isa account with a price of 145.7032 same for my Wife's Isa but my Wife's Isa I was able to sell a large chunk of Taylor Wimpey and bought a large number of Gem the other day which brought her average down to 90.0072.

The other day I found an American web site called Simply wall St and they had a target price for Shanta as 25p not far off your calculation. I did expect the price to rise last week with the price of Gold increasing, but let us keep our fingers crossed for the future.
