Just some information I came across that I thought our SHG colleagues might be interested in. Share in issue as at 09.01.2018 769,491,787 Major shareholders holding 3% or more 499,781,193, that is 64.95% of shares issued. I wonder how many ordinary people like ourselves hold?

silverknight- Sir this is what the LSE board showed first thing this morning, unfortunately I did not take a note of the bid/ask prices but I agree with you the spread is now 3.85%

That is very kind of you Sir. I have done 52 years and my sister celebrated her Golden last year. I am sure my parents would be very proud if still alive. My Mum lived to 102 and only passed on a couple of years ago. Sorry to ramble on and give you a life history.

Thank you all Gentlemen for you comments on Sunday to my posting, I am sorry I could not respond on the day but I was celebrating my Brother and Sister in law Diamond Wedding Anniversary down in Saltwood , Kent. Ducatti you were perfectly correct the last two trades where mine and they were buys. Numerous times I have bought SHG and they have been shown on this site as sells. It would seem more correct just record the number of share and price. Once again thank you all for responding to my post.

The last two trades of the day shown as sold should be bought. to the Gentleman who said if I look at fundamentals on the LSE site I should see trades shown as bought and sold, all I saw was accounting figures.
