Last seen at 36p 2 days before the the leaked possible takeover. Looks like they might gap this up again.

I'm sure this guy will want his money back as a minimum. 90p placing oversubscribed. Pursuant to the Placing, Maurice Critchley, Non-Executive Director of the Company is subscribing for 1,431,761 Placing Shares. This subscription for Placing Shares will result in Mr Critchley being interested, in aggregate, in 4,168,131 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 7.56 per cent. of the Company's Enlarged Share Capital

Might be a wee bit of fun if those interested try to predict the eventual HAYT offer (or equivalent) price per share, made by AVG or any other predator. The company may have been established in 1815 (formerly Specialist Energy Group plc, formerly Nviro Cleantech) but they are in trouble. I have bought and sold this share for many a year but the writing is on the wall. Expect a giveaway buyout and move on.

Nothing to do with current share price as it was brought down by shorters. It's what they value the companies future prospects that is more important.

Hopefully CEO won't sell to cheap and consider the people employed at the same time.

Also what better way to mop up private investors shares than to make an announcement of possible takeover, bet quite a few private investors sold out today.

Yeah I did but understand it now. That's exactly the way I look at it if they already own shares via a third party they will also benefit from the sale even though they are the ones paying for it lol. So win win for AVG. Looks like a friendly takeover as well bearing in mind no offer has been announced.

Of course it's been orchestrated why do you think RBS extended until the end of April. This has already been discussed with both parties only thing left for us to discuss is the price. What I haven't factored in is the goodwill bearing in mind the customer base of HAYT and Peter Brotherhood and what doors it will open for AVG. This is a one off opportunity for them to grow the business with first class facilities. Don't think it will be to long before an offer is made imo.

Well even taking into account the debt I think they should be looking at minimum of £50 million plus debt giving total of around £70 million. They spent £20 million on upgrading works and a further $15 million for Peter Brotherhood. So what value do they put on Hayward Tyler.

Now moved on leaving investors to mop up.

The successful tender offer was completed in early November 2016 and resulted in £19.4m being returned to shareholders. This was less cash than anticipated - a positive vote - leaving the group with cash balance of almost £28m, to enable future M&A and organic growth opportunities. M&A activity is now a principal focus of the management team, as we seek to build on past successes. Looks like they are keen for acquisitions, turnover was a lot lower than HAYT so the offer better be a good one.

What's the debt £20 million? Thought they might get nearer £50 million plus debt this was 90p 6 months ago.
