Just thought I’d get in early, as I’ll probably be sleeping later (must be getting old). It’s been a pleasure to be a part of this excellent bb this year and I truly wish everybody here and at Valirx the greatest success in all aspects of life for 2021 and beyond.
Saying that, I wouldn’t mind an RNS announcing an excellent partnership deal at the beginning of January, ha! It really would be the icing on the cake to be a part of something that comes to fruition and changes so many lives for the better.
So...a slightly premature Happy new year everyone :)
I meant to buy here on Xmas eve, but was still researching, so dithered. Then watched in horror as the share price rose on tradegate yesterday ha. Still, I got in this morning at 88p and am more than happy to be here. I’ve been lucky enough to be in Ceres since well before the rise and am confident of this continuing along the same path. Good luck and well done everyone here and I’m looking forward to the journey.
I’m so slow today. Sorry everyone. Thought I was posting on the ggp bb. Doh!
On Alba though, really excited for the year ahead. Things are looking good. And I completely agree with everyone saying that we need to get rid of that dog HH as soon as possible to fund other stuff here.
Hi Blue-horseshoe. I recognise you from the Alba bb. I would suggest you read back through paddygall and bamps21 posts to find what you’re looking for. Hydrogen and magic trades are also excellent for providing info to answer your particular question.
That’s why it was a fleeting thought, then decided in the end that it wasn’t worth it, on a 50/50 bet. Just thought that if they tank, then I could buy back in cheaper next week. Then remembered that I’m useless at trading and would probably end up losing, ha! So now keeping fingers crossed for a deal ;)
It sounds like you know what you are doing, regarding the Sipp. I really hope you pick some excellent stocks :)
I agree, in that it’s not for everyone.
I have a feeling that everything will be work out ok too, OB. Just not hugely keen on the prospect of a bumpy ride in the meantime. Debated whether to dump everything in FTSE in my portfolio last week, but decided to hang on.
Mulled wine it is then! See you guys in the bar :)
I love this BB. Everyone is so helpful. Zakopane looks beautiful, thanks guys. Will definitely check it out when it’s open, as I love Poland and could really do with some pierogi right now. Been to Auschwitz twice...it’s something I really think people should see, if they are able to.
Really hoping for a deal to be struck tomorrow AB! What’s everyone’s feeling about it?
I’ve never even heard of being able to ski in Poland. Will give it a look, thanks!
I take it you mean that you’re too young to be able to release your pension OB? I guess that’s a nice problem to have :) I don’t know anything to be able to help with that, sorry.
Strange about everyone’s device crashing...maybe there is something in the air tonight...
I’m very good thanks, OB. Just trying to figure out if there is a way of going skiing over New Year...
I’m feeling positive here. It feels like a quiet period at the moment, until hopefully we wake up one morning to an amazing RNS that contains news of a deal :)
Oh and I’m loving the bromance!
How are you? :)
I’m looking forward to catching up with the webcast later. Sounds like you were spot on with your sepsis prediction Adam :) I’ve been reading through everyones comments and it seems to have been an excellent event.
As I’m unable to view it, as it doesn’t appear to be uploaded yet...what did Suzy say about castrate resistant please?
Suzy is impressively professional. Nice one Tommy :)
Well I’ve lost the impetus somewhat now, as basically the MTD dose hasn’t been reached. Maybe it doesn’t have to be though, if the 8mg/kg performs well enough at the next stage. Will be interested to see how the liver copes with a higher dose, after borgie brought that up, but it doesn’t have to double again. Maybe 12 mg/kg? As the 8 mg/kg performed so well to stop that particularly aggressive cancer in its tracks. That was the really tough patient to get under control, so was the big test for me in the results. I was slightly baffled as to why there was only one patient at 8 mg/kg and further testing was done at 4 mg/kg, when the point was to try and increase the dosage. Another cohort could be added easily to test higher doses in the next phase, but as it was working at these doses already, then I can see why they possibly didn’t feel the need to push it at this stage. The pharmacokinetic profiles certainly show that 8mg/kg looks fine, with a high level of certainty and opens the door for that to be increased, if needed.
