Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
There is nothing nasty in the annual report to explain the drop in share price. On the contrary this reinforces my view that this is a well run company undergoing planned expansion with sensible achievable growth targets in a significant market with the opportunity to replace exports with home production. Anyone else out there?

Gas flowed and flared from all 4 wells on western concessions and from both formations. Great partner in ConocoPhilips. "We have successfully concluded the first phase of activity on the third and most critical well in our 2013/14 work programme and are one step closer to demonstrating the commercial potential of the Sasino formation, our primary shale target. We successfully landed the lateral section of over 1,500 metres within the Sasino horizon as planned, and we are now positioned to execute a multi-stage stimulation of the well. The well stimulation is expected to be 20 stages or more, following which the well will be put on test in the third quarter of the year." The BNK concession to the South west will Frac first and give us the confidence and confirm the methodology for Sasino. Money in the bank, no debt, fully funded until at least 4th quarter and no extra capex until frac results known. Whats not to like. San Leon doing well to the south east but primarily looking for liquids. The northern concessions of 3legs have the thickest layers of gas bearing shales in Poland.
I have a few of these shares (10,000) and I am confident they will do well long term. I suspect that these shares have been affected by the Russian antics in Ukraine. Keep topping up as these are a good money maker for the longer term investor.
I hold both shares. LLOY earnings 1.6p/share STAN 100p or STAN 62 times bigger. LLOY NAV/share 50p versus STAN at 1000p, STAN are 20 times bigger. Share price LLOY 78p STAN 1294. STAN are 16 times bigger. It seems to me on basic fundamentals STAN is very undervalued. Lets hope the results on the 8th do not disappoint.
Back to profit again, for the time being. Dividend payable 14th May at $0.52c / share or about £0.35p. I will be keeping these for a long time, hopefully getting back to the 52 week high before thinking of selling, a long way to go.
