They already knew who wanted in... there was no desperation for cash which is why it was all done in a couple of hours. No pioint in marketing to a clamouring market.

The issue was well over-subscribed. Some HNWIs and IIs wanted in / a cut and why would they want that I wonder?? When they are that keen it certainly isn't to lose money .... its a huge vote of confidence in the plan and the expectation of a sizeable return. It just means that the PIs took one for the boys as is often the case.

The partnership with IRH is worth far more to us than whether we issued shares, and bank borrowing wouldn't have given the likes of Slater a reward for being loyal. You can't honstly believe they couldn't get a medium term loan for that piddly amount from a bank? Maybe you need reminding of this:

HDS the erroneous notice of an EGM yesterday has caused a degree of uncertainty as many people will still have it in the broker accounts. This needs addressing.

THS' fine chrome Vulcan plant still isn't fully operational after 4 years, Seis .... This was fromJan '23: "The Vulcan plant, which began cold commissioning last year (2022), IS EXPECTED to improve the Tharisa mine’s chrome recoveries from about 62% to around 80%. An important aspect of achieving this outcome will be the performance and reliability of its electrical equipment; the majority of which comes from Zest WEG."

It was approved in 2019 with the stated aim then "Tharisa looks forward to delivering first chrome production from the Vulcan plant within our anticipated timeline of 15 months.” .. so in 2021....

Things are not necessarily as easy as they look to the outsider... JLP have 5 years experience in the SA chrome business of this modular approach to draw upon.

Marine, JLP 10 bagged in a year.....

Asos, the online fashion retailer, went from £3 to £70 in just over 4 years ..... and back again from £78 to £4 in the same timescale.... JLP's sales will be far more stable and the market for its product only growing going forward compared to an internet sensation like that. £3 billion should be a walk in the park....

As for Brighteyes comment ... as usual, he's lying because the smallest company in the index is Hargreaves Lansdown @ £3.3 billion who will likely be chucked off at next rebalance of the index. But Ocado are in the FTSE100 and haven't ever made a profit and are nowhere near doing so... Autotrader, an online car advertisement site are in the FTSE.... Soon, JLP will be thowing off cash in the hundreds of millions .... we can easily be a FTSE100 company.
