My response was mostly aimed at Charles post, complaining about the same thing AFTER it had been acknoweledged by the management team that they could have done better. What do you want, sack cloth and ashes? Nobody is perfect ...but very few know what is invoved in running a company of 750 people over two countries and having to deal with local conditions, attitudes and politics when trying to get theings done. As I have said many times before, there are too many armchair CEOs on this board with little clue and no real world experience.

And then you seem to make an unsubstantiated claim about the team consulting for global mining companies and not focussing on JLP. Do you mean, as an example, the work being done on trying to win the Mufulira contract with Mopani, if so that is BAU. If not, what and where is your evidence?

Fear so quickly overtakes reality when the SP falls. The audioboom piece re-establishes reality. JLP will be back to 20p within 12 months.

That was the benefit, not appreciated by many, that Colin brought from his years of operating in Africa. He had connections which allowed them to get up and running so quickly in Zambia. And yes, it is a very virtuous relationship to have when you have the authorities working with you, as Glencore found out to their cost.
