seis, i tend to agree and think the strategically relevant aspect of this award hasn't been fully recognised becuase of the headlines about the **** project.

this spv with the new owners of mopani, could be the springboard for jlp growth and will give us a key relationship with one of the majors. i recall some idiot not long ago deriding the idea that glencore would ever consider doing business with jlp... well a glencore equivalent is going to which could have implications for opportunity with them in many jurisdictions and metals.

The Preferred Scenario out come mentioned forecasts a SP of around £1.00+ in 5 years .....

Wrong again Buttercup .....Page 22 of the annual report details contribution by product. Cost per PGM oz including Chrome credit - $508. Add back the chrome credit of $277/oz gives a true cost of $785/oz with revenue per oz of $1,262 giving a pure PGM operating profit of $477/oz which without anything changing would give a 2024 operating profit of $20 million. With additional chrome contracts and the ability to process the PGMs flowing from them this can only increase.

To be clear every US$1,000 / ounce increase in rhodium price equates to US$3m earnings. If this is the start of a sustained rise like the article was suggesting then this is very significant, especially as we are starting to increase the number of PGM ounces available to process.
