Debt defaults only when business are under performing and unable to maintain repayments. have you looked into the structure of the debt facility? unlikely.

JW that debt has remained stable as far back as annul reports go, even back pre covid to 2018. I don't see that as an issue at all. the sp was £2 the whole time that debt structure was in place, do some research. Ill let you off seeing its your first post here!

It fell purely on illiquidity but now look, there’s nearly 300 trades a day, there’s a market and it’s going back to where it was prior to Axa dropping out. Janus Henderson and other remain in situa and we now know there’s 2p reserves on the books. Insane disconnect here, I see 20p breaking and it moving to 30-40 quickly probably tomorrow…

Net debt is far less and has remained stable for years. Equity far outstrips with a good asset against liability ratio. Don’t try to scaremonger.

We know Axa only sold due to their funds transitioning to greener cleaner portfolios. They have set strict deadlines on achieving their targets and it is well documented. Large fund houses are constantly battling against the green brigade and Axa are the front runners in tidying up their books!

Agree Longfell, a number of risks for new buyers has now been removed. We know the seller Axa are out and why! We know the company understand the disconnect in value and have released a statement to that effect. It’s clear there is no intention to delist and there’s a desire to work with strategic investors to rebuild value which imo will now happen given the hurdles are limited. This is a company valued at £2 taking all aspect into consideratio, NAV, EBITDA, profit and net debt. Don’t let de rampers tell you otherwise as they try to depict a balance sheet which is strong.

Axa sold for their own reasons, a clean up of their flagship funds to reduce exposure in fossil fuels etc. indus has been on their books for 10 years plus!

Ronnie it’s a fair to ask those questions so here is my take.

Axa have been invested in indus since c.2013 I suspect they have good relations with the bod, there is no commitment for brokers to justify drops as they would a rise. It is a constant niggle I and others have with the market.

I don’t think the bod really have any need to buy more, they currently own just shy of 90% of the float through their private investment vehicle.

The move jumped up pretty quickly, it needs volume to justify further moves up, an RNS at 330/4pm catches the market out. Not many are trading/ investing at that point on a Friday afternoon! Consider it an opportunity to get in Monday.
