Yuri, it's impossible to be certain one way or the other. If you asked for a probability on us hitting the jackpot I'd say maybe 10%.
It might be interesting to know people's views on what the sp will be this time next year.

I only gave a doubling of shares as an example of the effect it can have in response to you repeatedly saying it doesn't matter. Of course it matters. The steady drip drip of dilution makes it harder and harder for lth's ever to get their money back. I don't really think an rns is about to drop with a doubling of shares. However, if things don't go to plan it's not impossible over a longer period. Like I said there is five times the shares compared to four years ago.
No, I have not sold as I have always conceded that there is a chance, albeit a slim one, of this coming really good. You however seem to think there is virtually no chance that it won't. I have stated previously that in December I doubled my holding at 0.285 so at that time I was reasonably optimistic. That was eroded as things dragged on. I was criticised for saying I didn't think we would get Cambay or much cash out of the dispute. Look how that turned out. Would rather have been wrong but there you go.
As for the idea of multiple ideas and posting to put people off, I can't believe you're serious. I have said many times I would question the sanity of anyone who thought posting on bulletin boards would affect a share price, or indeed anyone who sold based on something I said.
I will be upfront about one thing. On Friday, I discovered a bit if cash in my isa I had forgotten about. I seriously considered increasing my holding by 50% at 0.12 and reducing my average from 0.57 to 0.42. Then recalled that I had been doing that steadily since first buying at 2.5p. Atb.

The cash is gone. There is no question of getting anything at a later date. Simply don't understand your attitude to dilution. If the number of shares say doubled the value of the company needs to double just to get the sp back to where it was before. I was going to it was unlikely to be that bad, but who knows given the track record over the last few years.

Quite agree Mike. All of those who think this deal is so great should look at the posts from early this year when all the hype was we are going to get Cambay or a load of cash. Imagine the uproar if Oilex had suddenly said then that they were going to walk away in exchange for gspc flogging their share to someone. This only seemed good (at first) compared to the expectation that we could be waiting well into next year for a resolution.

same as last time there was no mention of future finance which will probably equate to further substantial dilution. I suppose it's just possible the new partner might put some cash in up front. Can't imagine why gspc would make a contribution. Must say Joe sounded confident and sincere but it would be surprising if he didn't.

Just for you Yuri, " I don't believe it !". Sounds like it could be this time next year before drilling starts. I may lose the will to live by then. That's if they don't push it back even further. Oh well, as you say, at least we know.

Yuri, you seem to think longer term than most on here. There were many on here at the beginning of the year saying 1p+ in months. Dividends are a long, long way off, if ever.

Yuri, you may not have directly said 2 or 3p but you talked about forecasts of up to 5p which seemed to be plucked out of nowhere. Still let's not quibble, even 1p seems very optimistic short term.
You seem to have accepted that there's going to be further dilution. Please don't say it doesn't matter because it really does. We have been diluted by nearly a factor of 5 over 4 years.
There is a small possibility we might escape that if there us a cash injection from the new partners.
We will know a lot more by the end if the year at the latest. Atb.

about it , what a great deal this is - for gspc. I think on Monday I got swept along with the general euphoria when the sp was going through the roof.
All gspc have agreed to is sell an asset which they had already said didn't fit in with their portfolio. In return for this Oilex have given up their claim to the cash calls which they have been in dispute about for years.
For most of this year people have been posting on here that were going to get all/some of Cambay or at the very least the cash owed. Never believed that would happen but thought we might get some cash. As time went by and we got more diluted, I got more pessimistic. Thought they might run out of cash before resolution. Okay, that's not going to happen now, but there could still be further dilution.
All the talk on here was of 1, 2, 3p when we got Cambay or the cash. Amazing that is still being said now none of that is happening. Don't get me wrong, we are in a better position than we were last week, and it is my no means impossible that it could all come good. It is also perfectly possible that it won't.
So Yuri, I think I'll put the order of humble pie on hold for now. Keep the table booking just in case though. Lol. Gla.

Must say even in my usual pessimistic mode wasn't expecting it to fall back to 0.19 so quickly.
