Mind you, past experience has shown that you can't read too much into what they say or don't say. Like when I assumed they had waived the cash calls because they didn't mention it in the settlement rns. I suppose it might be too much to hope they will issue another clarification rns? Gla.
Thinking about if there had been loads of competitive bids why would they extend the period? They could've just said bidding closed and we need a few weeks to evaluate. I'm hoping it's the potential bidders who have asked for more time. Gla.
Agree with that guod. It's drilling that's the key. Doubt if we'll know how successful it is for the best part of a year. Incidentally, we can be pretty sure Oilex will still be the operator. The tender document says farm out of non-operated field. Atb.
For what it's worth, I reckon slightly up or down today, so a guess of 0.21 to 0.25. Probably similar on Monday, since I doubt there will be any news then. Gla. Atb.
I don't know how many times I've got to say this. Gspc's own tender document says recoverable reserves of 18.6 bcf. For obvious reasons they are hardly likely to understate the value of their own asset.
through the Gspc Cambay tender document which someone posted recently. A couple of things might be of interest. Mitch, you were asking if the new owner with 55 could insist on becoming the operator. Well, the document is headed "Farm out of non-operated field", so that settles that one. The other thing is people keep saying 2 tcf of gas or even a trillion quids worth. Lol x 10. The document gives recoverable reserves (page 35) as follows. Oil 0.84 mmbbl Gas 18.6 bcf which is about 1% of 2tcf. In a way it is academic as it is what it's worth that matters and once we know what Gspc's 55% is worth we will be able to value Oilex's share. Atb. Gla.
