Got to say, that whilst I think things ain't looking great, I am at a loss to understand the 27% drop in the last week. In that time we have had the West Kampar update and the news of a drastic reduction in cash burn. Would have thought, if anything we would have got a small rise. However, investors past, present and potential future, are voting with their wallets. Atb.

The death rate per million from Covid in India is extremely low. It ranks about 70th on the international list with the UK in 2nd. That's 25 per million in India compared to 690 in the UK.

Not like me to say this, but I am a bit baffled as to why the sp hadn't gone up at least bit on this news. It has risen on far less than this. At the very least you'd hope this would be an asset they could, hopefully fairly soon, use to raise some much needed cash.

Oilex is like a mirage. Always looks like it is just ahead, but as you approach it retreats further. The question is will they sell Kampar to fund Cambay or vice versa? Or both to fund the Irish Sea. Atb.

Thanks for the link Yuri. Yes Joe was upbeat,as always. Hardly likely to be anything else. We have really heard it all before. Sounds like it's going to drag on and on..... I repeat we can't blame Oilex or gspc for the current delays but the overall time scale from November 2018 has been ludicrous.
The only encouraging thing was that he said they had cut costs enormously. Atb.

Hi Yuri. There has in the past been a much bigger reaction, both in the sp and in comments on here, to more inconsequential news than this. For example, when it was confirmed that the sale of Cooper was going to happen there were comments like "0.2 for starters". That was for something that we already knew was happening, and with only a very small benefit to Oilex. The sp went up a bit and then predictably fell away again.
Incidentally, we were never gearing up to drill Cooper. That required millions we didn't have. Probably the best option would be to sell this asset. Hopefully might contribute something to drilling costs. Atb.

Read the rns Gazza. The arbitration was 10 years ago. The interest has been awarded. What it means to Oilex in financial terms and how quickly they can realise it, is less clear.
