The delisting is exactly what it says on the tin Jack. Purely an exercise to save money and staff resources. The company now has no interests in Australia and the trading volumes are very low. I would think the next step will be to move the head office to the uk. Wouldn't be surprised to see Joe retire from the company. Atb.

Personally, I doubt we'll hear much about the jv until it's a done deal, probably well into next year. They might say something in very general terms, such as, a number of parties have expressed interest. There's no way any deal will be signed until they solve the condensate issue. That will hopefuly be before Christmas.

Agreed, no overhang in the conventional sense. The concern is that human nature being what it is, once syn has no connection to Australia, many oz investors will sell up. By there standards thete was high volume on asx last night with 25 million traded and the sp halving. That drop has no bearing on what happens here but might be an indication of sentiment.

Nak. Yes syn (oex) has always been on AIM (Alternative Investment market) in the uk. This is simply a submarket of the Lse for smaller companies.

Nothing at all, and there is no alternative. They don't have the cash to buy them back. Wouldn't think there would be any problem with brokers in oz trading on aim. No real reason for holders in oz to sell if they dont want to.

Sausage. Why would a jv care where the shares were held? I wonder how much the company will save by not being listed on asx.

Nak. Your price is 0.002 or 0.2 cents. That is equivelent to 0.112 pence. After today's drop our price is 0.095 pence. So you are actually higher than us.
There are 1.7 billion shares in oz. It would cost them £1.9 million to buy them all back. They dont have the cash. Atb.
