the last couple of years the bod appear to have wanted to take wood private. the ceo us based and with contract synergies etc it makes sense for the bod to do so, but not for shareholders. people have been shafted here big time by the mistakes and announcements this bod have made. sid have really pulled their pants down but instead of a smack on the **** which they need, they will most likely get a kiss from sid for helping them pull off a steal of the century.

Its extremely ignorant for those to keep reminding us that they have made 100% etc on a spike , bought in at 0.3 etc and were all going to be rich. The facts are a lot of investors got spiked and what appears to be happening is that someone with a large amount of shares ( the fat one or CEO's wife or someone associated with this outfit) are selling down daily no matter at what cost to the retail investors who are loosing money and trying to make a bit of profit. Its obvious what is going on but still you live in hope for that annual spike again. Instead this company should be communicating and not taking the pea as its doing now. Those pumping this share are either in this scam or just hoping to get out like me. And you don't own this board so stop telling us to go away or calling out names of those who have a factual opinion.

Should have invested in Wise Mpay instead, as that's where then money is and lots on new openings recently for key personnel, all fully funded too as it appears. Wonder where the money came from for that ? As for Semnet, the website blog stopped last year and not a smidge of an update, no comms, no updates, no financials , no news and the daily block seller appears. Is this just another LSE/AIM scam ? And before I get accused of spreading FUD , this is fact so wake up.

Hmmm : just to add. They also declared that both SId and Wood are in current discussions with the existing lenders. I should imagine that is a very strange conversation "without" the financial/audit report as they claim. How is the existing lender supposed to make a informed decision on rates/terms etc without the report from the audit. It smells that were being taken for idiots.

My take on this - It seems that the review has uncovered a possible $250M black hole as why would Sid only want to put that in initially? The total $450M will be a "loan" at the same rates to be negotiated with the lenders of the existing current loan , so on the books it will have to be paid back to the "Sid Group" . The question is, do Wood actually need $450M or is this just to make out there is a bigger problem to get the 35p offer accepted. (FUD)

Also note that "both" Sid and Wood are in current discussions with the existing lenders so this implies the books must have been done otherwise how could such negotiations proceed? All I think this needs is the Bod to renegotiate its debt and further secure a $250M RCF to fill the black hole due to the review. (It my suspicions are correct)

If they can get this $250M they should then tell Sid to duck off as it appears Sid want to shaft Wood shareholders by implying that the company needs $450M when in reality it may be substantially less . They want the company as cheap as possible and will even get their "loan" money back via the Woods books.

As for the SP, take over panel and legal obligations etc .......should shareholders also be allowed access to the financial information Sid and Wood are using to persuade the current lenders to accommodate the issues found in order to secure a new debt and the Sidera loan proposal ? My point is , how can informed decisions on the SP and value of the company be decided by investors without this information and why are current lenders and a loan shark only privileged to view it. Can anyone advise the legal position here as I really don't trust the BoD and they don't seem to care a lot of people have lost money due to their mess and false reporting.

Billy - looking at the historic chart its like a sharks teeth over past 5 years. Spike, raise then sell down. There is a constant block daily seller and has been for months now. I pointed this out to the board some time back. I'm just waiting to get out and break even when it next spikes. Long term I have no idea about this company as nothing is transparent and confetti seems to get issued freely. The Bod has to make a statement regarding investment and returns and be self sufficient before investors will take them seriously. Right now I feel they are treating us with discontent and muppets. PS...I got spiked from the raise sadly and 30% down now on a substantial amount.....lesson learned.

Whilst all this discussion is going on.....the fact is most buys ( which are now little) are taken out daily by Mr 500K who is driving down the price...........the pumpers are just doing him/her a favour. And when a spike does come along....wow more confetti will be released ...rinse and repeat...simples as that ! Just another scam and nobody will get rich here.

Buying crappy assets with shares and placing at the same time.

Watching the daily 500K/1M Bod block seller take out any buys.

another AIM disaster looming hence why the original pumpers are gone. They could probably see this happening.

Reduced exposure and risk, so hopefully by retaining the 30% option its much more manageable going forward.... 120M + 30% back in option + the possibility now that this will develop due to local support is better than just walking away.

Because he pulled Woods pants down to take this private to save his own backside. One minute things are growing and the company will be cash free positive in 25, then all these issues. The guy is clueless but will be part of the new org with bonuses for doing such a good job of taking the company from shareholders. Just hold out for a better deal as the ii's should be furious.

Makes sense....Only other observation is that on AJ Bell its generally NT to sell when a lot of market sells go through.... but today they were happy to take my modest amount without NT. Quite a few bigger sells today being soaked up so maybe an order being worked too ?

I suspect John D. Wright who left the board last week is possibly selling or moving a few. ?

They cant possibly go from 25p to 70p overnight......so just testing @ 35p to flush out the weak.... It will probably end up at 50p (which I feel is still too low) after setting the scene and expectations....Imo

35p is a bit of a joke and is just chancing their luck.
