I disagree syria has oil and lots of it why would you not produce revenue with something that is proven... if they had to drill several holes to find it that would be a different matter completely...they will need it to rebuild everything does not make sense to import it in.. let's see what Russia china and the USA think about it..

They will have too look at the state of the place they will have to rebuild and oil is a big income for the government...

I agree Russia has kind of said they have handed control over to the Syrian government and they don't want to release them to start up somewhere else... This was in a news release "Negotiations have been ongoing for days now, and now the regime is sure that [it] is winning. So unless there is serious pressure from the international community on Russia on the regime, I think this deal might not even happen because they think they're winning ... why allow [the rebels] out if we can kill the rest of them there and now."

Syrian rebels say an agreement has been reached with Russia for a cease-fire in Aleppo to evacuate remaining civilians and rebels from besieged districts.
