Hi 010, my take is that for lth's this was the chance to really showcase Syme to a wider audience, and to capture the feelgood moment .
Unfortunately the poorly thought out presentation and body language gave out a very flat and disappointing outcome.
Whilst you are of course correct that nothing has changed fundamentally regarding the potential Syme has, the majority of lth's have suffered with false dawns on many occasions these past 3 years, so therefore although not expecting market sensitive news, they did expect, and rightly so, a polished professional upbeat performance...
what the heck has happened to this site since the weekends so called maintenance?
posts not showing, time of postings showing wrong post time!!!
can't see me bothering even trying to read posts anymore, never mind trying to comment on a post....proper **** up....
Morning all,
I remember this hitting 1/10th of a penny on the way down and thinking, how can this be with everything we've been told...
Now I'm thinking wow! 1/10th, up 78% in a day !
Onwards and upwards from here on with what now is genuine revenue starting to flow in, with a lot more opportunities to come...
Nice strong and sustainable rise today.
It does seem like the tide has definitely turned, and about time I hear you say!
Well done to all long term holders who have had to endure a two year torrent of abuse and, at times seemed an indefensible position to defend.
People's personality often dictates the position they take and maintain in share dealing.
Day traders, long term holders or a combination.
It's what you feel comfortable with.
There will always be abuses abundant where money is concerned, but patience and a willingness to see things through to the end are in my opinion, about to pay dividend! GLA
It was so important to start generating income, and as Peak says, the amount is irrelevant. Confidence in the platform is obviously building and it's only upwards from here. GLA
This buy is clearly good news but, if an RNS was released tomorrow or soon, could this not be suspected of knowing information likely to influence the sp, therefore violating the rules....I might be wrong but think I read something about timing of buying, and privy to information.
Cela24, I have had a look through Ripples website but can find no mention of them being under any regulation authority umbrella (FCA for example).
I did find this ;
Ripple helps customers meet Anti-money Laundering and Sanctions Compliance requirements to combat improper use of money by bad actors, rogue nations and more.
Ripple is one company, among others, that helps financial institutions use cryptocurrency in a compliant way to meet business objectives—despite some misperceptions, the improper usage of crypto by bad actors is very low.
The thing is, surely to comply fully with anti-laundering problems companies will have to be under regulatory control?
Muldoon, upon reflection you and Jiffy are right. It was a bit of a crass and ill judged comment to make which I withdraw and apologise to Cela 24 for making.
You're right about Syme looking at the history so far lol, but still hopeful things can change in the near future....anyway, hope you're all enjoying Easter..roll on tomorrow!
Must admit, I sold up just before the big slump because I just wasn't convinced enough.
Got back in this morning, and am happy to admit that.
I am on reflection a tad relieved not to have waited any longer as I probably would have regretted it.
Haven't got swashbuckling amount of funds as still after 4 years finding my feet, but am happy for all you lth, especially Splatt who has taken a lot of flack over these past 2 years...good luck to all of us.
Not my intention to mislead Tg21, it's something I believe in after all that I have researched.
Of course there's always a possibility of doubt, especially if one allows it to become a mindset.
Personally I prefer to stay absolutely 100% positive about the outcome of Syme.
Have a great day...
