From VSA re. Lithium fires

South Korea has also experienced a number of lithium-ion battery fires in existing energy storage sites. Only recently, in October 2022, a lithium-ion battery fire at South Korea internet provider Kakao's data centre in Pangyo, Seoul, according to datacentredynamics.com, brought down KakaoTalk, a messenger app service used by a majority of Koreans, and disabled other services including banking, payment, and travel apps. IES grid scale vanadium flow batteries provide non-flammable, durable and UL certified technology.

There was mention on today's VSA's 5-Minute Morning Miner that USA Department of Defence has been down to T'West as their looking to refill their tungsten stockpiles. A nice offtake agreement would put a rocket up the share price!

European Metals confirms that it received an indicative offer on behalf of the Ceske Litihium company (a member of the KGI Group) to "purchase the lithium mining and processing project at Cinovec".

The Czech company Ceské Lithium, which forms a part of the investment company Krupa Global Investments of Pavol Krúpa, calls on the Czech Government to form a joint venture or another form of cooperation between the public and private sectors for lithium mining and processing at Cínovec. The offer of partnership in this project, which is in line with the concept of the European Battery Alliance, was delivered by Ceské Lithium in their letter from 20th August 2018 to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of the Environment, DIAMO State Enterprise and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
