Touchstone Exploration to emerge as clear winner when oil price disruption eases, says broker

In March, the company confirmed the Cascadura-1ST1 well marked flow rates in excess of 10,000 barrels oil equivalent per day (aggregated, two tests took place across separate well sections), which followed Coho which yielded a rate of 7,600 boepd in tests.

The company, in its financial results statement, meanwhile, today reported crude oil sales of 1,589 barrels per day

Seriously brilliant company. So much potential. Has not been material effected by Covid and will shortly be derisked by moving to local gas!!!!

Coho took 12 days to get the independent review done. They may not be so busy this time so maybe sooner! End of next week may be possible but I’m sure Canada will react first as it always seems to do!!!

DONT LET ANYONE FOOL YOU THAT THE FINANCIALS LOOK BAD! They aren’t and every company will be putting impairment. Charges on the books, even the hugh ones!

Only a small 5% decline in production even with Covid-19.

Ignore the impairment charge as it will vanish when oil prices recover, just an accounting requirement. Removing that they made a net loss of 100k which is better than last year!!!!

Let’s get those data loggers out and that reservoir sized, production flow rate firmed up and show how MASSIVE this gas field is!

I am pleased to report that we currently have the necessary building blocks in place to make 2020 a truly transformational year.

Despite ongoing challenges, we have five main business objectives in 2020:
• Bring the Coho-1 well onto production to increase cash flows and decrease our sole reliance on volatile crude oil forward pricing;
• Drill and evaluate at least one commitment well on the Ortoire block subject to maintaining liquidity targets;
• Formulate a design and plan for production from the Cascadura-1ST1 well;
• Negotiate and formalize a natural gas contract with NGC for the Ortoire block; and
• Finalize the extension of our existing joint venture agreements with Heritage.

We are currently designing tie-in alternatives for the Coho-1 and Cascadura-1ST1 wells, which will be part of the extensive onshore gas infrastructure managed by the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago ("NGC"). Once on stream, these wells are forecasted to represent approximately 70% of our production, resulting in a 70% natural gas and 30% liquids product mix. We believe this petroleum product diversification will insulate us from future commodity price volatility.
