Enjoy!
Hello RWT2, nothing you do not know already. Confirmation that precision fermentation is much closer to be a reality than CP.
But it was great to hear from the CEOs of those companies directly. They came across as competent and knowledgeable.
I was particularly positively surprised by All G Foods.
Another positive thing I inferred is that big incumbents are having conversations with several of these companies. So future acquisitions or models like in Pharma are possible and likely. There might be other companies that will be successful that are not in our portfolio, but that is accepted by our companies as fact of life and they are not bothered about it as they think there is space for multiple successful companies in this space. They understand the competition.
Singapore the Mecca of PF & CP - USA the market of focus - EU will be lagging due to regulatory complications.
But we will not see anything meaningful until 2025 - 26 in market in my opinion. In 2024 there will be product launches across the spectrum, but not really at much scale and in a geographical limited basis.
Still, I was very happy with what I heard, the presentations and the Q&A. Mr. Chow came across like a thoughtful and knowledgeable person. And i had a lot of fun for the 2,5 hours the webinar lasted.
I think it will be loaded into ANIC website soon for you to watch.
Hi Chris, nice hearing from you. I understood that with the cash we have we are set for the end of Q2 or Q3 next year to invest on what they want to invest. I assume there will be a raise by H2 then.
Enjoying the webinar a lot so far.

Yes, Gerry I meant Target Healthcare. I still like their proposition. Upscale retirement properties. We wont be short of older people any time soon...
Trying to ignore the share price, as long as the dividend can be mantained!
SREI, TGHR, EPIC, all my reits between 18 and 30% down... not nice but if the divi is mantained I would not be unhappy, as you say the reinvestment would be cheaper and the cash flow higher...
Oh well...

Just looked Sainsburys online. Their burgers are twice the price per kilo that their top beef burgers…
At the same time that people is switching in droves to Aldi…
Let’s hope that celular agriculture makes cheaper burgers than the slaughterhouse variety !
I agree with you RWT2 - But on the other side, it means they are finding a way to use their products and think about commercialization.
It is indeed very niche, but anyway the manufacturing capacity would be very limited for the Every protein at this point of time.
I wanted something more substantial but it is a first step. I think about it as a "proof of concept" or "test and learn", particularly on the collaboration side with other companies.
Well, it was the inclusion of their proteins in a beverage.

I am kind of disappointed on the one hand... but actually quite happy to see something is being produced on the other.
I can not but help thinking how many news are there out there about CP and PF, but none for our set of companies.

I am not going to post all links, just a couple of examples
I follow Good Food institute and Blue Horizon updates, and there are many companies raising money, apparently opening manufacturing facilities etc, but crickets on ours.
I am really looking forward to November and the webinar with ANIC, but i am surprised we do not know anything more from Vitrolabs, or Formo, or (particularly) Blue Nalu, for example. I would have assumed they were picked because they were well ahead of competition, but hey..
Do you feel the same? Backing the right segment but not sure the right horses? or still confident our picks are good ones?
100cups, Kwasi can't influence the USA stock market. Which is falling at the same rate the FTSE felt.
At the same time the FTSE was falling during the morning and afternoon so were falling at the same % the Eurostoxx and and the EU stock exchanges.
It has nothing to do with Britain. No matter how much the center of the world we believe it is.
It is wide world pessimism, the start of a massive hangover now that rates are coming back to normal levels, as everybody is saying.
In regard to ANIC (and many other investments), I think we need to wait for 2030 now! - But as Watson says, perhaps is now the time to load up!
Yes, totally agree RWT2, at some point there will be a further rise of funds. And that is very desirable in my view.
But hopefully only once we have crossed the 30p mark and stabilized there for a while. My fear is if there is a further rise at current prices.
Will I see you in the master investor presentation webinar?
It would be great to have your incisive questions placed to the speakers!
Hello all, I hope to see you at the webinar on the 3rd of November.
In one hand it is really exciting as I am missing real info on progress and expectations and to reassure current investors. And I am really looking forward to hear from the companies themselves.
On the other hand it is a little scary if this is a warm up / road show for more fund raising!
Hi Gerry, i also hold SREI, a thrid of what i have in EPIC, but now with the discount and the over 7% yield (assuming it can be mantained) i will be topping up SREI to bring it up to 2/3rds of EPIC.
My only other REIT is Target Healthcare, already 2/3s of EPIC. But this has only a 3.5% discount vs. NAV, compared to the huge discounts in SREI and EPIC.
