There is plenty of open minded people who do proper research for their pets nutrition, and that very concerned about sustainability and even more so for animal welfare. Those are our target.

And for those ill informed sceptics, perhaps they should investigate a little more what currently goes into their current food, and the source of animal proteins they get.

This is the future.

What i find also amazing is not only the lack of RNS or news from PFC, but the little attention i can find in the business/economic press.

I can not remember how much do we have invested in CellX but I think I remember we did put some more money on it a few months ago.

I am not sure what to make of the current share price. Is there something I am missing on my perception of this business?

At a 9.5% Divi, and with the recent news on fleet and debt and at a discount to NAV of 30something% is this a great opportunity to top up? Or am I blind to some potential nasty surprise?

Well, I had to add. Not just because of the last 2 RNS, but because I had it planned anyway.

Now this is one of my biggest holdings. And at a difference with other companies with boards and "appointed managers" it looks to me that the interest of the CEO and the stakeholders is very aligned.

I actually thought that TMI owned Grindrod fully… and that it would end up merging fully benefiting from economies of scale. Who owns the other 17% of GR? Any other major shareholder?

Quick thought: I rather they use the cash to invest in interesting companies that can multiply that in the future.

The benefits for us should they succeed are much bigger than repurchasing a few shares. This is not giving any dividends, it will make no difference to us small shareholders at all. It will be forgotten soon and we will have 3mio less to invest in other adventures, or increase our position in selected ones within the portfolio.

What is the stake we have in this? I must admit I am not keen on plant based meat alternatives on this portfolio. I rather they stick to cultivated protein, fats and precision fermentation. Biology based companies, not mix and match ingredients faking products.

But if it makes money and we can benefit... ok...

I bought at the beginning of the year, so I'm in quite a loss at the moment, but for what I can understand through news and reading of their documents (and your comments) is a company that is well run. And the case is the same now as it was at the beginning of the year. Not just the company, but the whole of sea freight, it is going to be needed yes or yes. Making boats is going to get more and more expensive, so if you have them now you are in a win. I see them appreciating significantly thanks to inflation (and yes, debt will be a burden, but even more so for those who need to buy from new)

So I keep adding when I can. It makes me feel good to think I own a tiny part of a ship!

And it seems directors are doing too..

After more than a year I have started to buy again (modestly compared to my original investments), and will do so a little more every month from now on.

Again as I told the forum before, 50% down, but not panicking.

I'm with you BMB5DJO. I am seriously underwater with ANIC, but I like the companies and the recent announcements for many of them. When I started buying in 2021 I though this was a 10 years investment, and although the deep red makes me very uncomfortable, the case and the time horizon stands for me.

Im going to help, I just increased my position a 35%
