This acquisition is a very shrewd move from NCYT.
Vertical integration and makes the company deal solely with the priorities of NCYT.

Great move. Keeps the profits in the group. And can direct the R and D roof the new company to help Novacyt market even more.
Not sure it will rocket the SP, but is a very shrewd move from Novacyt

Bought a compay for £10 million, that will generate 5m a year at least for the next few years. I.e it's for free long term.

I still have full confidence in ODX and NCYT to provide my retirement. Two companies out there selling tests and making good money on it. Cash is King. Money in the bank for future growth and acquisitions.
SNG just had a placing and a temporary rise to get the II involved. Many months more to wait there before a big pay day. Revisit in December I think

I don't expect too much from the trading update. They have only just started selling the new tests. Its all about the ramp up from here to xmas.

Its a maybe. But Avacta are currently technology transferring their 'unapproved' test to its production partners. They don't have the manufacturing capacity we have.
If Colin is correct we could also beat them to a spit based antigen test as our Christmas/New year present.
That would be amazing, and would add a new dimension to the share price targets.

For the Government orders it will be about £1.5, as stated. So no big deal.
But when MHRA comes in and we sell on our own its full profit minus distribution of 30% to Amazon or Boots etc.
So about £7 profit to ODX. That's the real story. This is just warming up time.

And by next summer we will have 100 million pounds/annum of China food intolerance market.

I keep looking at SNG. But its all or nothing. They get a JV and its away.
No JV and it drifts away to back where they started.

The rest is in funds such as Lindsell train and Fundsmith. Steady growth in those. No late nights worrying
Dont gamble more than you can afford to lose.
My goal here is to get that 1/5 up to a level to buy my condo in Thailand next summer.

Aberdeenman and myself are on the same page. Do the maths. There will be bumps along the way, but as the production grows so will we.
200k a week.
Then 500k a week.
Then 1 million a week.
Then 2.5 million a week.

Not rocket science.
We will get disappointment sometimes as we will think it doesn't happen quick enough. But just sit tight.
Aim traders want it next day, next month.
We will grow in stages, so come on for the ride. Hop off when you have reached a target. Mine is £4 next summer.
